  Convenient hotel for train travel.

  Good hotel - very convenient if you’re catching trains from Gare de Lyon. The area is quite touristy and the prices at bars and brasseries reflect that.

  The rooms are really small without anywhere to put your things, but the bathrooms have been updated and the shower was very clean. The hotel is very convenient to the train station, so that’s a plus, but the neighborhood isn’t the most charming. The staff are somewhat apathetic and even if you are nice to them, they are cool and distant back. I found it ungrateful when I tried to do something nice for the staff and it was not at all appreciated, so next time we will definitely spend our money elsewhere.

  Perfect location, small clean rooms, friendly staff and lovely breakfast.

  We stayed at this small hotel twice, both going to Spain and on our return and were pleasantly surprised. The rooms are small but this is the norm in Paris and as our stay was just for one night each visit, it didn't matter. The highlight is the breakfast which during the week starts at 6.00 a.m. and was perfect for us as our tgv left at 7.30 a.m. Fresh bread, croissants, scrambled eggs, meats, cheeses, dried fruits, fresh fruits, nuts, jams and cereal. There's a 24 hour free coffee and tea machine and every staff member we had contact with was very pleasant and friendly even on our return stay when we arrived at midnight. The quickest way to the Gare de Lyon is to turn right on leaving the hotel and then immediately right again and you'll see the station in front of you. We would definitely stay again.

  Small and comfortable and great location

  Very handy and clean hotel if you're using Gare De Lyon. A 5 minute walk will find this small but comfortable hotel. We had a small double room, which was ideal for us as we were travelling from Gare de Lyon the next morning. No tea or coffee machines in the room, however plenty behind the reception area where breakfast was also located.Plenty of local restaurants for food nearby and a 20 minute walk will take you to Notre Dam Cathedral.Would definitely use again if travelling by train.

  SHORT STROLL TO THE TRAIN

  After being dropped off at the wrong Ibis hotel by our taxi driver we walked around the corner to another Ibis. Once again the wrong Ibis, fortunately the lovely lady at reception showed us where to go so on the third attempt we found the correct Ibis. We arrived around 930am expecting to leave our bags and check in later, however the young lady with Welsh accent at reception advised the room was ready so we could check in early. Absolute bonus for us after 38 hours travelling. The hotel is small around 35 rooms and well located to Gare de Lyon Verte Plantee walk and a good neighbourhood. The rooms are small but everything you need for a short stay. Room decor is modern and functional with juiliette balconies. Many thanks to the gentleman at reception who messaged me about a few items we left behind this was greatly appreciated as we had time to go back to the hotel before our TGV departure.Overall perfect hotel for a couple of nights I'd you are travelling.
