  A very well located hotel, with exceptional staff and great rooms. The bed is comfortable and the rooms spacious, especially for a budget hotel option and their description of the room as being for a loner. Breakfast was fantastic, with a selection of cooked food and pastries as well a great collection of cheeses and cold cuts. The best bit was the freshly squeezed orange juice, which tastes so much better than the stuff out of a carton.

  Very Good for the Price

  My 5 star review is based on price point. We got 50% off a second room bringing the price to $300 for two rooms. They gave us the top floor with two rooms across the hall and only two rooms. It was basically a suite and perfect for a family. The rooms were smallish, but the beds were decent and the rooms were clean.Breakfast was included and excellent. Staff were top notch and very helpfulI'm giving 5-stars for location, but let me say more. It's a busy area and not the cutest - very urban and not as much character, but it's hoping with restaurants and bars. It's walkable to almost everywhere and there are several Metro lines within a short walk. Looking back, I would have stayed in Place de la Republique. It's a little less central, but the area has more character. Overall, no regrets and a great value.

  As an Accor Hotel member, I made a non-refundable reservation at the IBIS Styles Hotel La Fayette for my touristic trip between November 15-19. When we went to the hotel, we were very surprised to see the room we were given. However, we did not object, thinking that all the rooms in the hotel were the same. On the last day of our trip, just out of curiosity, I asked the receptionist if the pressure in the bathroom was low and if it was the same in the other rooms. She sent an officer to the room. The person who came said that the pressure was normal but that he was surprised that we were staying in this room as two people and that this room was for the handicapped. We were very disappointed when we heard this. When we explained this situation to the receptionist, She said very politely that if you had objected from the beginning, why did you wait until the last moment? We told her that we would write this situation as a complaint. There was not even a wardrobe in the room, we hung our things with hangers on something like a radiator pipe. The size of the sink in the bathroom was less than a span. There was no cabin in the bathroom, there was a curtain. I am attaching the photo and video of the room.We had a very dissatisfied hotel experience.If I had known that I would be staying in such a room, I would definitely not have made this reservation.I request that this dissatisfaction be resolved by a) a full refund of the money I paid, b) a hotel opportunity in Paris for the same period (4 nights bed and breakfast) within the next year.I am sure that you will fulfill this request and thank you.

  No trust no credibility, think twice if you want to book here

  I booked this hotel for my Christmas trip in Paris 11 month ahead, try to secure a hotel in flexible rate (pay the hotel on arrival). Couple of weeks ago, I was traveling overseas for a long haul work trip, I discovered two emails from this property. First one is asking me to prepay for my 5 days booking (it is not the rate I booked for flexibility), second one is cancelled my booking with my response as I was traveling (less than 24 hours from first email). I do not want to stay in a property has no credibility, no trust. I guess if you want to stay here, think twice. I have booked someone where instead.   The hotel located close to the center Paris and walking distance to shopping district (Opera).Also there are so many restaurants/cafes near the hotel, l thought it will be noisy on the weekends but my room was situated back so wasn’t noisy.The room is small and minimalist but offers everything you need (no mini fridge and safety box).Breakfast is ok, a few varieties breads, cereal, cold meats, cheese, savoury cake, fruits…very basic. Good things is they have freshly squeezed orange juice machine.Check out time 12pm was good, I did not have to rush in the morning.
