Clean hotel, nice breakfast. Loved the shower which had plenty of hot water. Only minor criticism was the room did not have a safe otherwise I would have given it a 10 review

    Could be better

    rating19 May 2026

I stayed here for 2 nights on my own when travelling for business. The hotel is obviously fairly new and that comes with a modern, clean, fresh look. However there are things that could definitely be improved:The food is OK but the menu is fairly limited. I had a “ribeye” steak but I’m telling you now it wasn’t ribeye. I had to question whether it was even beef! Didn’t taste like beef and was as thin as a gammon steak. They had the cheek to ask me how I wanted it cooked, but then you are cooking steak 1cm I don’t think it’s possible to cook it anything other than well done (which is exactly what I received despite asking for medium). The fries were warm not hot. Needless to say the second night I didn’t eat in the restaurant. My room was a “comfort” room, and whilst there was nothing particularly bad about it, there were niggly things that were annoying. There was a sign asking you to use the safe in order to protect your belongings and make any compensation claims valid. However, after hunting high and low I couldn’t find a safe. The shower cubical is TINY and the rain shower head is quite low, I can’t imagine how someone over 6ft would be able to use it! I kept turning around and either adjusting the mixer tap or shutting it off completely. The room is easily big enough to accommodate a larger cubical. The window in my room was massive and opened completely all the way. Being on the 6th floor i expected it to be set to only open enough to vent the room. Whilst not an issue for me, it’s very dangerous!Breakfast was continental; being British I’m not a fan of these. I prefer the “full English” but there was plenty of selection and it was always well stocked regardless of how busy it was. The closest thing to anything from a classic British breakfast was scrambled eggs. Various jams and spreads, cereal, bread (with the option to toast). I think breakfast must be included in every room rate because they weren’t checking people’s room numbers etc, you literally just turn up and eat. I mean if you could get in from the outside you could have a free breakfast! One annoyance was that I booked the hotel using my company portal, I purposely booked this hotel because it didn’t require payment upfront (I was waiting for my corporate Amex to come through). However, in order to book in the portal I had to add card details. I added my personal details. I bank with Monzo so can see any attempts to take payments from my card. Well, out of the blue the day after booking the hotel tried to take the full amount from my bank but LUCKILY for me I made a mistake adding my expiry date so it didn’t go through. Over the next few days they re-attempted multiple times to take random amounts out of my account! Why were they doing this when the booking I selected was no pre-payment; settle at the hotel!?

Disappointing check-out experience due to no luggage storage

    rating13 May 2026

Dear Team,I would like to share feedback regarding my recent stay. At check-out, I was informed there was no possibility to store luggage due to lack of space. This created a difficult situation, as I was travelling with my elderly mother and we had to spend several hours walking around the city carrying our bags.I understand operational limitations may happen, but I believe having a temporary luggage solution would greatly improve the guest experience.I wanted to share this feedback in a constructive spirit and hope it may be useful for future improvement.Kind regards

Another nice stay at an Ibis in Europe

    rating21 Apr 2026

The hotel is a clean, well-run facility with a courteous staff. Room was comfortable with a nice shower. Breakfast was good, and it's a nice touch that they let you use the coffee/cappuccino machine almost anytime throughout the day. Dinner at the hotel was convenient after a long day and the food was good. La Toscane restaurant nearby was very good. It's a 10-15 minute walk to the metro station, but the bus stops right next to the hotel. You can load tickets onto your phone and use them to board the metro or the bus. The bus may take longer to get to where you want to go, but you can enjoy looking at Paris while riding. Uber was reasonable and became our preferred way to get around without the crowds on public transportation. We particularly liked the City Mapper and Bonjour RATP apps for getting around. We skipped the immensity of the Louvre and went to the Petite Palais for our museum experience, and it was delightful. The highlight of the trip for us was a 2-hour Seine river gourmet lunch cruise we arranged through Viator.

    Good but

    rating07 Oct 2025

Recently stayed at the Ibis Style Meteor and overall, my experience was okay. However, I was very disappointed with the luggage storage service after check-out.Upon checking out, I politely asked the front desk if I could leave my suitcase for a few hours. I was told that it was impossible because "there was no space." To my surprise, just a few minutes later, I saw other guests who were checking in being allowed to store their luggage without any issues. While I understand that hotels prioritize incoming guests, it feels unfair and disappointing to be given a false reason. A simple and honest explanation about the policy would have been much better than a claim that was clearly not true. This inconsistency left a sour note on an otherwise acceptable stay.
