  Very good experience with this hotel. Perfect location, rooms were very well equipped and cleaned daily. Friendly and helpful staff made the whole experience even better.   First off, I'd like to say the hotel staff were very kind and helpful and the location of this hotel is IDEAL! Unfortunately I think the hotel could use an upgrade everywhere. The elevator didn't go up to the floor we were staying on.. there were someone else's hair in our bathroom.. the heat was blasting and could not be turned off/AC could not be turned on so we basically had to sweat it out all night. Another note, not sure if this is common throughout Paris, but we had to return our key everytime we left the hotel and request it when we returned. I didn't like that at all and wish we knew ahead of time. That being said, the hotel is in a great neighborhood!   We normally stay in a different part of town when we travel to Paris, but this time, decided to mix it up a bit, so chose Hôtel Ile de France Opéra. So glad we did! The location was perfect. We could walk to most everything we wanted to do on our short 3 day stay. Food of all kinds was easily available, a subway stop was just around the corner, and we could walk to a laundromat. We purchased a breakfast included package, so ate downstairs every morning. The biggest challenge was figuring out the coffee machine, but once that happened, we were good to go. Typical French breakfast selections including croissants and eggs, meats, cheeses, yogurts, etc. We would certainly go back again. Thanks!   This hotel is very terrible . We stayed here for 3 nights. It was a horrible experience. The guy at the reception was so rude, The lift wasn’t working, and the man said he can’t apologize. That we should use the staircase.Also the cleaners refused to clean the room, they insisted we have to go down to reception for them to clean. There was no water in the room and we requested for complimentary water, they told us it’s 3 Euros per bottle.Overall I won’t recommend this place.

  Booked really late, didn't realise we'd stayed at the sister hotel a while back. The sister hotel was lovely, and this didn't let down either.As in most of my reviews, I focus on service as that's what grabs me. The concierge were great, both helped with parking, and assisted when wanting to leave the car a couple of extra hrs. Great face to face customer service!The room was really nicely decorated, with a full sized master bed, full sized bath with shower. Yes it's noisy outside, however all of Paris is and I've not stayed in a city centre hotel without a bit of noise. That said, it went quiet before midnight.I would definitely go back to this or it's sister hotel, in fact might book either for next visit!
