    Horrible

    rating04 Jun 2026

The hotel is horrible. During a visit in May 2026, the room was in a deplorable state: the sheets were dirty, and there was dust on the floor and walls. When I tried to open the curtains, they fell down. The room has no air conditioning, and the ventilation is very poor. I decided to cancel immediately and forfeit the cost of the first night rather than stay at that hotel. That place—if it can even be called a hotel—should not be allowed to operate.

    Horrible Experience.

    rating01 Oct 2025

When I went to my room, there was no hot water to shave. When I brought this to the attention of the girl at reception, she advised me to leave the tap running until the water got hot. As the sink plug was not working, it was not a problem to leave the tap running. That was, until the water began spilling onto the floor from the underside of the basin. I went downstairs again and told the girl about the problem. She said that she would "get someone". Two hours later I once more went downstairs and found that the girl had departed and had been replaced by a young man. The girl had not passed on any information to the young man. He came upstairs with me and saw what the problem was. His solution was to throw my hand towel on the ground in order to mop up the water. When I requested a change of room, he informed me that the hotel was full. When he left, I checked online and found that the hotel had three vacant rooms. I didn't use the sink any more during my stay. When I was checking in on September 13th. I was overcharged by €24. I didn't notice this until I was back home in Ireland. When I tried to do a review of this hotel, I was blocked. After a week of attempting to do a review, I contacted Hotels.com in order to make a complaint. The agent told me that I couldn't do a review because I had cancelled the reservation. This didn't make any sense to me as I had already paid for my three day stay. I eventually convinced the agent that I had not cancelled the reservation. As the reservation had not been cancelled by Hotels.com, it is safe to say that Jeff Hotel registered the cancellation in order to avoid an unfavourable review. Customer service at Hotels.com didn't appear to be concerned by this action. While I was waiting for Hotels.com to find a resolution, I made an official online complaint to the French Government body responsible for investigating fraud. For those who wish to avoid having to speak with seven different agents and having to repeat your story every time, "Direction Géneral de la Concurrance, de la Consommation et de la Répression des Fraudes" is highly recommended. Easy to use online complaint form. Once more, for your information, the hotel was Jeff Hotel, 53 Rue Richer, 75009, Paris. The owner of this hotel has six more hotels in Paris and one in Marseille.I have video footage of the offending sink, but the file is too large to upload.

    DREADFUL!

    rating09 Oct 2024

Dreadful, fleas, smell of chlorine, dirty rooms, dirty sheets, cockroaches, bed bugs. Completely dreadful experience. Once we checked in we got to see the rooms and left directly. We went down to the reception and explained that we dont want to stay here and Sabrina promised a full refund as long as we write to Booking.com. We did but the hotell acted like cowards and denied a full refund.... We checked in to another hotell same day. Whatever you do, don't go there unless you like the smell of chlorine and unexpected guests in the bed.

Safe streets, comfortable beds, not exceptionally clean.

    rating15 May 2024

The beds were fair. The toilet seat was wobbly. Nothing was very clean. I had to pick hair out of the sheets. It was a LOT of stairs to the third floor. The breakfast breads were plentiful but no fruit. There was always a desk person. The streets felt safe but very loud at night.

    Dirty & Dark

    rating21 Sept 2023

I went there in September.A very small hotel with a very simple receptionIt has a very small elevator that even a person can't fit with his luggageWorst of all is his room. The room was very dirty, the floor was not very healthy and clean. There is no dresser in the room, just a vertical box with 3 hangersThe room was very dark. The whole building smelled of paint. There were no slippers and not even a simple phone to call reception in the roomI even saw some cockroaches in the room on the second dayVery very bad hotel..
