  I am extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel. I stayed here for 6 nights and 7 days, and throughout my stay the service was consistently poor.I have stayed in many 5-star, 6-star, and luxury hotels around the world, and I have never experienced service this bad. The room service and housekeeping standards are far below what should be expected from a 5-star property. In fact, this level of hospitality should not exist in a 5-star hotel, and I have experienced significantly better hospitality even in many 4-star hotels.The air conditioning was also a major issue. The room was extremely hot, and despite asking on multiple nights for the AC to be turned on or adjusted, my requests were repeatedly ignored. This made it very uncomfortable to sleep and added to the overall frustration of the stay.Housekeeping IssuesHousekeeping repeatedly took my towels and robes and failed to replace them. I also used some of the complimentary vanity kits provided in the room, and despite staying for nearly a week, they were never replenished. Even basic amenities were not properly maintained.Service ResponsivenessAfter midnight, it becomes nearly impossible to get any assistance. No one answers the phone, and even simple requests such as additional water bottles go unanswered. It is unacceptable that a hotel of this category cannot provide basic guest support during the night.Overall AssessmentThe lack of responsiveness, attention to detail, and overall guest care made my stay very frustrating. For a hotel that claims to offer a luxury experience, the service standards are nowhere near what I would expect.Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing, and I would not recommend this hotel to others.

  My favorite stay yet in Paris.

  Fantastic, high end hotel. I’vestayed at a lot of Kimptons and this is the nicest yet. I felt like it was closer to a Ritz Carlton. Room was spacious for Europe, and my room looked out on an interior courtyard, so it was quiet. Paris was having a record heat wave and their a/c was fantastic. Indoor poolwas refreshing. The weak dollar helped make the prices on the rooftop bar quite expensive, but the view of the Eiffel Tour is unmatched. Service and food was excellent all around. Bed was very comfortable and the linens were soft and high quality. I’ll be back! Thanks to the Kimpton team for a magnificent stay.   Quaint upscale hotel

  Excellent experience at Kimpton St. Honore. Great & safe location, near Opera and metro. Lots of food options walking distance. Rooms were quaint and well appointed, not cramped. Room was quiet even above inner courtyard. Friendly staff who spoke French, English, and others.   Complete lack of communication

  We are extremely disappointed with the customer service at Kimpton Paris St Honoré, particularly the complete lack of communication.Unfortunately, we had to cancel our trip to Paris because our Eurostar train was cancelled with no possibility to reschedule. As soon as we found out — around 4:30 AM — we immediately contacted the hotel. We understood that it was already too late to cancel the first night without charge, but we politely asked whether an exception might be possible given the circumstances.To be clear: we are not complaining about being charged for the first night. We understand the cancellation policy and accept that this was ultimately our responsibility.What we are complaining about is the way the situation was handled afterwards. During our phone call, the staff member was polite and assured us that someone would get back to us later that day. Nobody ever called. We then sent several polite follow-up emails over the following weeks requesting an update or even just a response. We never received a single reply.Even a short email saying, “We checked but unfortunately cannot make an exception. We still look forward to welcoming you in Paris in the future,” would have been enough. Instead, we were simply ignored completely.One of the reasons we booked Kimpton Paris St Honoré was because of the reputation for excellent customer service. Another reason was the pet-friendly policy, as we travel regularly to Paris and were hoping this hotel could become our “home in Paris” for future stays. Sadly, after this experience, that will definitely not be the case.Polite staff on the phone mean very little when every promise to follow up is ignored. The absolute lack of communication was incredibly disappointing and far below what we expected from a hotel with this reputation.
