  Good hotel on the outskirts of town

  Hotel *** located in an activity area, 2kms from the city center. Formerly "Campanile." Free parking. Well received by the receptionist who took us well in hand. Excessive tourist tax at 10 €:(Room 52, on the ground floor, behind the building: Spacious room. Large double bed with small bed available, 2 small soft pillows, 2 small bedside tables on each side. Small small table along the window with welcome tray (kettle, coffee, tea, cups and biscuits) and a single chair. Thick curtain obscuring daylight quite well, the bottom letting through a thread of light. Flat screen TV with simple TNT channels. Free WiFi with low bandwidth. Corner closet, without extra pillow/blanket. No air conditioning available.Bathroom quite spacious. Hair dryer and soap dispensers (not sure if it is also shower gel) 2 micro cardboard cups and 3 towels. Bath, sink and toilet seat. Large mold spots on the ceiling that can be washed with a big sponge, but the cleaning staff must be too small apparently;) .   TRIPADVISOR... STOP DELETING MY REVIEW... IT TURNS OUT...

  I submit this review for the fifth consecutive time as it is systematically deleted, for no apparent reason, despite the truth of our stay at this hotel. We were a group occupying four rooms, and our experience was extremely difficult.The hygienic condition of the rooms left much to be desired: dirty curtains, sheets with hair and the presence of hair in the bathrooms. In one room, cobwebs adorned the ceiling. In another, the sink was clogged, the light fixtures on each side of the bed were broken, and the bathtub wall was unstable, posing a potential hazard. In addition, one room had a shower out of order. In addition, a strong tobacco smell permeated all the rooms, which were not soundproofed at all, exposing us to all the surrounding noises.Unfortunately, we had a very disruptive and drunk neighbour. As soon as we arrived, he stood half naked in front of his open window shouting incomprehensible words. This situation was particularly worrying when we simply wanted to return to our room. During the night, he continued to shout and be threatening, even vomiting outside his own front door. To avoid this scene in the morning, we had to take another staircase to leave the hotel. In addition, our room overlooked the parking lot, where an altercation between vehicle drivers broke out, preventing us from turning a blind eye due to noise and stress.We contacted the receptionist several times to tell him about these problems. Although he called the police because of our neighbour, no intervention took place. The receptionist intervened twice in the parking lot to disperse noisy individuals who were not even guests. He also tried to find us another room during the night and suggested solutions to our inconveniences. The next morning, he generously offered breakfast to compensate for our horrible night, which we politely declined, preferring to leave this trying place as soon as possible.We would like to express our gratitude to the receptionist for his efforts to minimize the inconvenience we encountered.I am now speaking to the owner of this hotel. It is unacceptable that the receptionist should assume all responsibilities alone. Despite his diligence, it is obvious that he cannot be everywhere at once. Moreover, it is unthinkable that parking is not secured by a code, which exposes staff and customers to high risks. The presence of a security guard to manage alcoholic or aggressive individuals is an absolute necessity. It is crucial to offer properly maintained, well-insulated rooms to ensure a peaceful and secure stay for guests. It is imperative to seriously review the safety, hygiene and equipment of your establishment. I seriously question the criteria that gave this hotel three stars, as it is clearly below the required standards.In short, this hotel is not to be missed.
