  Modern, clean rooms, and a cozy little breakfast buffet. Staff members are very pleasant, helpful, respectful and speak English quite well. The location is central, yet hidden, so it is ideal for couples and first-timers who want to be relatively close to the most famous attractions, without being constantly bombarded by noisy crowds. We are definately coming back here for our next trip to Paris!   Disappointing policies

  We had high hopes for this hotel after reading reviews here.We booked at the 'non-cancellation' rate. Shortly after making the booking I realized that I had forgotten about the time difference and would not be arriving until a day later. I immediately contacted the hotel to ask to push the reservation by one day so we would be arriving the day after we booked but still staying for three nights. They refused to do this, even though they had availablility at the time (I checked before contacting). They informed me that 'no cancellation' also meant no changes. I really had to look through their site to find this information.The other 4 places we had booked for the rest of our trip had no problem adjusting the date of arrival.When we arrived, perhaps feeling that we weren't pleased about this, we were offered an 'upgrade'. What that really meant, and which we found out about once we were almost at the room, is that the elevator doesn't go up to that floor and we were now on the front of the building, not on the quieter courtyard side, which is what we requested. By this time we were pretty much fed up, and tired from a 16 hour journey from the west coast of Canada. So, the two of us, both in our mid-70's just hauled out suitcases up the narrow curving staircase and called it a day. If you consider this hotel, make sure you get a room that does not face the street where you are kept awake by sirens most of the night. And make sure you go through the site carefully to find all the policies should you have to make a change.Not a do-over for us the next time we come to Paris. These conditions are not an invention of the hotel but part of the transparency required by booking platforms.The “upgrade” offer was never intended as a disadvantage but as an attempt to provide a better service. Accepting the upgrade involved a change in the room location, which was clearly communicated at the time of the offer.The hotel does everything possible to accommodate requests for quiet and comfort, but we cannot retroactively modify non-refundable bookings or change the room location at the last minute.In summary, the hotel acted with full transparency and in accordance with the published policies. We regret any inconvenience caused by the stairs or street noise, but these circumstances were clearly indicated and are part of the urban context of Paris.We encourage all future guests to carefully read the booking conditions and communicate any requests in advance to avoid misunderstandings.Kind regards,Alberto

  I needed to stay for the night after our previous hotel kicked us out despite my severe back injury. We went to this hotel the same day and asked for an early check-in free of charge because of my condition. They helped assist me to my room and they helped with sorting out my doctor to get me treatment. The room itself was very good quality and it looks like they're still working on renovations, so I can imagine they're only going to improve. The rooms are on the smaller side to other hotels I've been to but Parisian hotels seem to generally be smaller. For the price it was very good and the location had access to some quality halal restaurants too which was very appreciated.   Last minute booking cancellation by the hotel

  I booked a room for November 2025 and just 2 weeks before our arrival, the hotel called me saying that we have to cancel our reservation because the bathroom of our room had a technical problem and it couldn’t be solved in 2 weeks!!😂 And they couldn’t help me finding another solution , the least they could do to fix this last- minute problem.
