    Stay Here!

    rating01 Feb 2026

Stay here. Great location, rooms and staff. Wife and I stayed five nights. The wheelchair disability room on the main floor is very convenient. Not so much for the rooms on the other floors. Great breakfast (extra$) too.

    Poor Hotel

    rating30 Jan 2026

The hotel is situated in a narrow humid street & facing a noisy bar at night. Its main issue is the terrible smell all over its spaces. At the entrance which is quite cold & gloomy, you are directly overwhelmed by a bad smell spreading all over to the breakfast area (which is by the way a corner room with no natural light) & the rooms upstairs. You also have like 5 steps from the lift to reach the room floor & at our arrival there was no one to help us with the luggage. Although many emails were sent to the hotel prior our stay & the staff claiming that this issue was resolved, the smell was quite unbearable at our arrival & during all our stay. Thus, we couldn't even sit nor enjoy the lobby & the breakfast area & were out in the cold since morning sitting in cafes nearby to avoid this unhealthy atmosphere & getting late to only sleep there. The rooms were quite cramped, level of cleanliness average to poor with dust everywhere & a smelly carpet. The staff is too impersonal & most of them unprofessional (an email was sent to them after our stay & to date no reply). They couldn't even provide us with an extra duvet noting that the heating was always turned off by the cleaning staff the second we leave the room. You can find in Paris way better rooms & hotels for the money you pay there. Avoid at all cost.

We will stay elsewhere next time

Pros: Location.Cons: We had two (2) very small rooms, "as described". Both rooms had a musty smell. Experienced wet carpet in both bedrooms from a bathroom leak. The front desk person said, "The place is old". Most of Paris is old. Small breakfast room.

Clean and friendly and in an excellent location

    rating25 Nov 2024

We stayed 2 nights in November and were very happy with the choice. On arrival around 8pm, the small reception desk was manned by the owner who was friendly and welcoming. Check in was minimal, essentially paying the city tax.The room was small and the bathroom compact both rooms were big enough and had all we needed. Bed was comfortable, although pillows could have been better if want to be picky. Everything was clean and fresh. We didn’t have breakfast as preferred to use the many local restaurants within a short walk so no idea on quality of the food or service.Location of the hotel was excellent, 1 minute from the River Seine and less to the Metro. Only couple of minutes to Notre Dame. There is a Cabaret Club opposite but didn’t disturb us in anyway.

It could be spectacular but marred by a lazy staff member

    rating18 Jun 2024

The elevator worked, the bed was Ok, shower hot and reasonably clean - BUTthere was no refrigerator, the shower leaked and they "forgot' to service our room one day. The room is well fitted out, with new bathroom hardware. It claims to be 24 hour serviuce but one particular night manager was really lazy. Paris is a taxi/motoring nightmare with diversions around Olympics sites (it took over 100 minutes in a limo to get from CDG to Saint Michel). I wanted to change a taxi booking to Porte Maillot because the forecast was for rain but he obviously was too lazy to do it - we didn't want to risk missing our tour bus. He asked "what is the problem" and I explained that the already bad traffic problem woulkd be worse if it was raining and he told me to take the Metro. All he had to do was pick up the phone but it took 4 visits to the Reception desk to get any action. It's pity, because the helpful young lady who checked us in was breath of fresah air and nothing was a problem. You might say that accommodation in Paris is a challenge but when you have paid EUR 286 (AUD477) per night this is not good enough.
