    Totally failed service day after day!! This is meant to be a five star hotel - certainly on price but failed to deliver to a much lower standard.We went for four nights. Before we went we communicated my wife’s allergy to feathers (they trigger an asthma an attack) The hotel wrote back to confirm this would not be a problem.On the first evening after a night out we checked the bedding and it was all feathers. There was no explanation as to why this was the case when the hotel had responded confirming an understanding of the request. The hotel found some feather free pillows but could not replace the duvet and my wife had to sleep under a blanket - remember this is a 5 star hotel!The next morning I asked at reception that the duvet was replaced. We came back at 1600 and bed had been made but the duvet had not been changed, even after being reminded!! They managed to change it after further complaints.A friend of ours had sent a surprise gift of a spend at the hotel. They got confirmation that the money had been taken and the gift left in the room. This was completely untrue!! We were very embarrassed when our friends had to ask whether we liked the gift - we never knew anything about it even though the hotel confirmed it had been out in our room. Were they just taking the money!!!No explanation was ever given as to the error and the money was then refunded to our friend. At breakfast the hot food was cold, and the service was poor - we were ignored and had to ask for the standard fair.We found rubbish and a broken glass left on the stairs . The door staff, a. Ight runner, and the lady manager at breakfast were the only redeeming features.

    I’ve been traveling for years and stayed in many hotels, but my experience here truly stood out. I walked into this hotel after being disappointed with another nearby, and from the moment I arrived, I was greeted by a warm, welcoming smile from a young lady at reception.That first impression set the tone for my entire stay. Every time I needed assistance, she was quick, professional, and genuinely kind. What was supposed to be a short two-night stay turned into 11 relaxing and enjoyable days.The staff as a whole were courteous and helpful, and the atmosphere of the hotel was exceptional. I want to especially recognize Shaima at the front desk for her outstanding service, friendly attitude, and professionalism. She truly made my stay memorable and enjoyable. Highly recommended!     Like other reviewers, I agree this isn’t a 5 Star hotel. After paying €1600 for a two night stay I was surprised and disappointed. The look of the hotel from the outside with building work going on and scaffolding up and the cramped and underwhelming reception area inside gave me the feeling this wasn’t what they were advertising. It got worse when we entered our room. There was literally not enough space in the room to put two small carry-on cases anywhere that didn’t block a door. It didn’t have a view either so there was no reason for it to be this far off satisfactory. I rarely complain but for the money paid this was a long way off what I was expecting and what other hotels deliver for similar or less money, so I called reception immediately so they could potentially rectify it. To be fair to them they sent someone up promptly who told me there was no chance of a change of room as the hotel was full but would look into a discount and would inform me the next day what that would be. This stopped us checking out immediately believing they would be reasonable. The next day they wrote informing me there would be no discount but here’s a gift of some macarons.     A complete disaster – unacceptable for a 5-star hotel

    I recently stayed at Le Damantin Hôtel & Spa for a special weekend, and it was a complete nightmare. • Our room was filthy, with a persistent sewage odor throughout the stay. • The bed was soiled with feces. • Balloons I ordered were not as shown in the photos. • Numerous promised services were never provided.I submitted a detailed complaint with photos, emails, and messages, but the management offered only a 25% discount, which is completely inadequate. Even communications sent last year went unanswered, showing a pattern of neglect and unprofessionalism.This experience is unacceptable for a hotel claiming to be 5 stars. I hope management takes responsibility and improves their standards.
