Above and Beyond Service

My (now) Fiancé and I stayed at this hotel during our stay in Paris. The treatment that we received was outstanding. The staff members we worked with each had their own wonderful touch to our stay. Habib was great with working on helping us with the reservation, getting us to the hotel fom the train station, food recommendations, and was very easy to work with. Ismel went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful stay. He helped me book a hair appointment for a photoshoot we had. Find a nail salon that could fix my nail I broke the same day. Not only that, but Ismel walked outside across the street and showed me where the hair salon was, which was very helpful. He also helped us with our TV to get some English shows on our tv for us. He did so much more, again, he went above and beyond. Noé was very helpful with making reservations, helped with our AC as well as the TV. He was very kind and delightful to work with. He always greeted us with a friendly greeting and a smile. Finally, Ana who made breakfast even more delightful than the food itself. She made sure that some accommodations to my food was done, kept our glasses full of delicious freshly squeezed orange juice, and made sure we left with a smile. We also had great conversations with Ana while our food was cooking, the same order as the day before that she remembered perfectly. Not only that, they kept the secret that my boyfriend was going to propose and made sure it went smoothly. I can not thank everyone enough for all the hard work they put into helping us make our stay here perfect. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is wanting to make their trip to Pairs even more magical.

A charming hotel, but bring your own Air Conditioning in the summer!

This review is rated a 3 mainly because of the lack of working air conditioning. We asked repeatedly for it to be fixed and each time staff claimed it was fixed and offered fans. The room temperature maintained at 26 Celsius. Of we were staying more than two nights we would’ve left. Otherwise, it’s a very charming boutique hotel with historic charm. The Concierge always provided amazing options and handled all reservations. Breakfast was sufficient, but we only ordered à la carte. The French press coffee could’ve been hotter. I think you might also be paying for the proximity to many things.

Wonderful staff for sure. Everyone was very kind, professional and helpful. Unfortunately, this is an older building so closets tiny and everything a bit worn and down on its luck. Surprised this was a Marriott but, overall, very nice. Great location within short walk of Eiffel Tower. Enjoy!

RUN DOWN is how I would describe this hotel. It starts before walking thru the front door with a long crack in the marble step, the entrance reception foyer ceiling molding is in complete dis-repair, the carpet on the stairs going to all the floors needs IMMEDIATE replacement, ALL the moldings around the doors and ceilings need to stripped down and repainted there are like 5 or 6 coats of paint everywhere, the scum that had accumulated on the bottom of door jams throughout the common areas was gross, The craziest thing was our room had a toilet room where if I sat straight on the seat my knees hit the wall...I'm 5'3 and my husband is 6'1, He had to sit sideways and keep the door open. Room service left overs in the hallway along with empty bottles. These are just some of the highlights. If we hadn't paid so much I wouldn't be complaining as in life you (should) get what you pay for but in this case Marriot fell short. I know the hotel tries to sell their customers on the "Old World" charm with wear and tear, but this hotel is just TIRED. Photos attached.

This was truly an exceptional experience. The entire staff was so pleasant. The champagne bar was delightful and the hostess during breakfast Ana was amazing. Ana has an organic friendly personality. She does her job so well. My husband and I came from Dallas Texas to celebrate our wedding anniversary and my birthday. I loved the uniqueness of the hotel,Especially the elevator.
