  I can not express enough how well my experience at Le Pigalle. Great location and mature atmosphere. Rooms decor has a personal touch, I can not imagine any two being identical it felt like you were in someone’s home, not a hotel. Hotel restaurant had unique (to me anyway) offering I found delicious and ate there daily.   This hotel is everything you’d dream of when you come to explore the urban Paris, the famous 9th, steps away from the famed Moulin Rouge! Had a distinct honour of staying at this amazing hotel in rooms 62 and 30!The suite, room 62, is a piece of art! Complete with a turntable, collection of vinyl, amazing furniture and room full of character with a great view!We decided to extend our stay, and unfortunately room 30 was the only one available and it was smaller but amazing character as well with a stunning cabinet bar, cool art and curated books!The main lobby offers great food, cocktails, listening longes and DJs on weekends!The team, were incredible! Big thank you to Thanos, Clair and the night manager (sorry forgot his name!!!) and the Thomas who made sure our coffees were perfect in the morning!If you’re looking to stay outside of the Paris centre, and explore the charming 9th - this is your home!   having just arrived from New York and was assigned a room on the first floor. Unfortunately, I was unable to sleep last night due to the loud music coming from downstairs. This is extremely disappointing, especially given the €4,000 cost of my stay and the fact that I still have seven nights remaining.   Ain't that peculiar

  "Ain't That Peculiar" (Pete Moore, William "Smokey" Robinson, Bobby Rogers, Marv Tarplin) by Marvin Gaye, 1965, wasn't on the turntable or in the vinyl record collection in my room. Probably just was well, as ye olde hispter record player didn't work. I reported that, along with the non-working room safe, to the staff, but never heard back. This hotel was peculiar indeed. Conflicted about whether it is a hotel, bar, restaurant or nightclub (the lobby turned into a dance floor one night), my stay was definitely a quirky, if somewhat disengaging experience. The service delivery was distracted, aloof, with some staff more interested in themselves and appearing cool than actually providing decent customer service. Watching a staff member serve customers at breakfast while talking on a mobile phone ended any pretence about customer care for me. Breakfast fare was mediocre, overpriced, and my order was incorrect. The room was fun, quirky, equipment failures apart, if a little dark. Overall decor was airpsace hipster, co-working, co-living vibe. Noise from the Saturday night disco downstairs was audible, but I can live with that if the playlist does justice to the fine Parisian music scene (it didn't). Perhaps this is all your thing, given the location (Pigalle central), so your own mileage may vary if you visit. But there are better value and customer service options on Frochot.   Loved this hotel. I arrived stressed and tired and Adley at reception immediately clocked this and offered me a drink. Reception area is delightful - an expensive looking but cheeky living room with objet d’arts and a dancers pole.Elevator worked well which isn’t always a guarantee in Paris.Stayed in room 24 which was amply spaced for a solo traveller. Space is always at a premium in Paris and I thought the room was well laid out and optimised effectively for an old neighbourhood like Pigalle.Also loved the personality of the room, the sexy art and decor touches, and of course a hot shower, and lots of comfy bedding. Hotel was quiet but the street can be noisy, so if you’re a light sleeper, get a room facing the courtyard.Breakfast options were delightful. Recommend the avocado toast with mushrooms.Excellent value in Paris.
