    Good overall

    rating17 Aug 2025

Good overall. Location is excellent, just across the road to the metro and Montmarte with loads of lovely restaurants near by. The Staff were friendly and it comes with a free breakfast, the same every day, bread, jam, juice, coffee and croissant - which we were happy with. We had a superior double room with a balcony, the room was very small indeed and if you're staying more than a few nights not the easiest to navigate, as there is no wardrobe or drawers/shelves to store your stuff. It was clean but I don't think the floor had been mopped in a long time, it was pretty dirty. The balcony was great though, to sit with a drink and watch the world go by and it was surprisingly quiet for the area. There is no air con which was not ideal in a heatwave, but they do provide fans. There is a small kitchenette which we saw some people cooking in, again handy but we didn't use it. You can buy drinks and snacks at reasonable prices at the front desk. Overall good for the money and would consider returning, if just for the location - thankyou! :)

    Amazing view

    rating11 Dec 2024

Absolutely stunning view from the dorm rooms. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was the usual French fayre but it was all good quality and pleasant dining space. It's a short walk to the funicular up to sacre couer or opposite metro Anvers too.

    Best view ever!

    rating08 Jul 2024

Family room view was absolutely amazing, the best view we have ever had from a hotel room. The hostel was very clean and our room was lovely. The staff were very helpful and we were able to drop our bags off early. The area is lovely for families and we felt safe.

    Mediocre experience

    rating28 May 2024

The rooms are clean and have plenty of places to store luggage. It’s a very bare bones place, perfectly good for sleeping, but not somewhere you would want to hang out. I booked a 4 person female dorm for my friend and I and during the course of our 4 night stay the hostel assigned 2 different men to our room. Both times we had to argue with the men and tell them they couldn’t sleep in our room. The second man was assigned to the room after it already had four people in it (it was full) and we had to go down to the front desk to get him reassigned. We were very frustrated by this because we had paid extra for the room to be female only, which the staff almost immediately disregarded. Aside from that, our experience was fine, but the hostel itself seems to be poorly run and I would not recommend.

    Good Hostel

    rating15 May 2024

When we arrived the staff were instantly so so lovely and chatty. Check in was smooth and we were given free breakfast tokens which i didn’t expect but was brilliant. We got free breakfast for our entire stay. We went up to the room and it was a bit disappointing. It was the strangest hostel room I had ever stayed in. There were 6 beds all split up by walls. My partner and me were put in different rooms. There were no plugs for each bed they were just dotted around the room. To get to the toilet in the room you had to walk through by someone’s bed. The beds were creaky and very loud. Very strange room. The location was good as it was right next to the metro and close to the train station. The kitchen was good and had a seating area right outside it! There was also a laundry room but we didn’t use it so i’m not sure how it was. Overall, if they changed some things about their rooms then I would recommend to other travellers.
