  Superb hotel in unbeatable location. Strong family feel - the staff seemed all unchanged from last year and are, without exception, charming. So quiet despite the central location. Breakfast is enormous and excellent value for money. Rooms are just big enough and the view over to St German l’Auxerrois and the Louvre is unforgettable. I would hate to have to stay anywhere else in Paris.

  An Excellent Stay in Paris

  This is a well located hotel, in a quiet side street, next to the Louvre museum. The staff are friendly, efficent and very helpful, and always available. Nothing was too much trouble - they even accomodated our (very) early arrival without question. The beds are extremely comfortable. The whole experience of staying here felt very personal, and we look forward to returning again - hopefully soon!

  Wonderful, little hotel...

  Delightfully "French" with a superb location. One of the best things of this small place is the feeling of NOT being one of the hoards of tourists shuffled into giant towers with gift shops on the ground floor. Another thing... the rooms seem to be soundproofed from outside noise. This hotel is right across from the Louvre and very near a very busy street off the river. You hear basically NO noise from the outside.

  Feelings of insecurity, fear and anger.

  I had horrible evening and night from 3 to 4 April.I came to the hotel and asked the concierge for my keys.After that we had a small talk but somehow he started to ask me about my personal life (am I married, do I have children etc). He tried to invite me out, asked "maybe you'll come to Paris and visit me?", "let's stay in touch" - he opened his phone and waited for my contact.He had 3 rejections. None of them were heard. I still have a feeling that he can try to contact me.Somehow I managed to finish the conversation and come to my room. I find out, the room can be opened from the outside- the lock can be opened with the double key. I was very afraid, I almost had a panic attack and can't feel neither safe nor secure.I was terrified to go to check out because he could be there (I don't know how the concierge's schedule works). I'm writing this text from the train - I don't feel safe even know.Unfortunately, it's my main impression not only about the hotel but about my voyage to Paris now.Oh, the "smart toilet" didn't work. AULNETTE SOPHIE, Directeur général at Le Relais Du Louvre, responded to this review Dear Madam,I have just seen your message , and I completely understand your discomfort. This young man is not part of the hotel staff; he works for a temporary agency, as our night porter was absent. I immediately forwarded your message to the agency so they can take the necessary action regarding this individual—there is no other word for it but harassment.I truly don’t know what more to say, as I would have felt just as uncomfortable in the same situation. This behavior is simply unacceptable, and if the agency does not decide to stop assigning him work altogether, you can be certain that he will never work with us again.Please accept my sincerest apologies.   A dream of a city-center boutique hotel, come true.

  Just finished my third, week-long, leisure stay over the past year. My primary interests are music and art, so I first chose this hotel because its location was key. But after the first stay, I was hooked on the overall spirit exemplified by Mme Sophie and her well-chosen team. In U.S. terms, I felt like they had my back. The premises are simple, tasteful and spotlessly clean. Their service is sincere, common-sense, thorough, curated and supported by many small joys. (The stable and secure WiFi comes to mind). After spending a total of three weeks in their company, I felt that Mme Sophie and her team never failed to treat me with proper and true Parisian spirit. When you travel somewhere, you can’t ask for more than that. By the way, the price seems both oddly irrelevant and definitely more than fair.
