    C'est chic

    rating16 May 2026

This hotel is tucked away in such a quiet side street that you'd never know you were in the centre of such a vibrant, cosmopolitan and chic region of Paris. The welcome here was incredibly warm and friendly and English is widely spoken, but if you make an effort to speak a few words of French, they'll absolutely love you! Our room here was spacious, immaculately clean and decorated in a very contemporary Parisien style, which I loved. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable I've ever experienced in a hotel! We did all the major sights from here on foot, including the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, the Champs Elyssee, Arc de Triumph and many more, including a boat trip along the Seine for €20 each. A must-see from here is a walk up the hill to the Sacre Coeur church, where the whole of Paris spreads out below you - the view is truly spectacular. With numerous patisserie, shops, brasseries, bistros, bars and restaurants offering every cuisine you can imagine, you'll be spoilt for choice, all within just a few steps from the hotel's front door (including an Italian and a very quaint little place called Le Mignon literally right next door). I highly recommend this hotel - great staff, chic and comfortable accommodation in a superb location. Merci beaucoup, Les Plumes!! ❤️ Mgmt HR, Directeur général at Les Plumes Hotel, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a wonderful review about your experience at Les Plumes Hotel ! Clean but Quite Basic

    rating29 Nov 2025

Our stay at Hotel Les Plumes was fine, but overall the experience felt quite basic. The hotel is clean, which we appreciated, but it doesn’t really offer much charm or character.A few downsides: there was no water provided in the room, even after requesting it, which was a bit disappointing. The breakfast area also isn’t very comfortable — cramped and not particularly inviting. We also repeatedly received incorrect directions from reception, which made getting around a bit frustrating.Overall, it’s an acceptable place for a short stay. Mgmt HR, Directeur général at Les Plumes Hotel, responded to this review Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing your feedback following your recent stay at Hôtel Les Plumes. While I am pleased to read that you appreciated the cleanliness of our hotel, I am truly sorry that several aspects of your experience did not fully meet your expectations. Please accept my sincere apologies regarding the absence of the complimentary bottle of water in your room. This is an amenity that is normally provided as part of our standard welcome products for every guest, and it should have been in place upon your arrival. This is not reflective of the service we are used to deliver and be sure that we have already reinforced our housekeeping procedures to ensure this does not happen again. I am also sorry to hear that you found the breakfast area uncomfortable and that the directions provided by reception were inaccurate. We understand how these inconveniences may have affected your stay, and immediate reminders have been given to our team to ensure providing clear and reliable information to our guests at all times. Your comments are extremely valuable to us, as they help us continue improving the quality of our services. Please rest assured that we are taking your feedback very seriously and implementing the necessary corrective actions with the teams concerned. We truly hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back and offer you the experience that reflects the comfort and care we strive to provide. Warm regards,The Management

A lovely boutique hotel in the 9th

    rating22 Oct 2025

We absolutely loved our stay at Les Plumes! It's a smaller boutique hotel in a great, central location. We could easily walk to the Opera as well as multiple train stations, which were convenient to us for day trips out of the city. The staff went above and beyond to take care of us. There was a Keurig coffee maker in our room, and I inquired at the front desk about milk or cream that I could use for my coffee in the mornings. One of them immediately went and got me a small pitcher of milk which I could keep in the fridge in our room and use each morning for my coffee. I was pleasantly surprised by how eager they were to help us out. Each time we walked in or out the doors they greeted us with enthusiasm, offered umbrellas if needed, and more. I was very impressed. The room was perfect for our needs. It had minimal storage (both in the room and in the bathroom) but we made due. We had a small balcony too which was nice and worth the additional cost. It was just a view of the street, but we could still enjoy the sunset and get some fresh air.I would 100% recommend this hotel to others visiting Paris who are interested in staying in the 9th Arrondissement. There's also a really great Italian restaurant right next door called Via Mela. On a rainy evening when I didn't want to venture too far, it was absolutely perfect and I'd recommend grabbing a bite there if you stay at this hotel. WARNING: NOT A 4-STAR HOTEL—Unsafe, Unsanitary, and Fraudulent Claims

    rating06 Oct 2025

They put us in to the 7th floor after I made a few calls about a working elevator, the elevator wasn't working. Hotel lobby and breakfast nook where dirty and old, my bedroom smells like mold, bathroom with not a shower, bed head dusty, Halloween horror decoration, flat cushions. Welcome kit, one can of water. Awful hotel. Mgmt HR, Directeur général at Les Plumes Hotel, responded to this review Dear Guest, We are truly sorry to read your review and to learn that your experience at Les Plumes Hotel did not meet your expectations. Please accept our sincere apologies for the discomfort and inconvenience you encountered. We would like to assure you that the situation you described does not reflect the level of quality and service that we continuously strive to provide to all our guests. The elevator issue you mentioned occurred unexpectedly, and our team did everything possible to minimize the inconvenience while ensuring guest safety. We completely understand how this may have caused concern, particularly given your personal circumstances, and we are genuinely sorry for that. Our housekeeping and maintenance teams have since carried out a full inspection of the floor and the room in question to confirm that all facilities are in perfect working order and meet our 4-star standards. Please note that the refund of your stay was processed immediately after your departure, with the deduction of the first night corresponding to the day of arrival and room occupation. Should you believe otherwise, we kindly invite you to contact us directly so that we may review the matter together. At Les Plumes Hotel, we remain fully committed for offering an experience that reflects both our 4-star standards and the high expectations of our guests. WARNING: NOT A 4-STAR HOTEL—Unsafe, Unsanitary, and Fraudulent Claims

    rating30 Sept 2025

WARNING: NOT A 4-STAR HOTEL—Unsafe, Unsanitary, and Fraudulent ClaimsI am writing this review with deep disappointment and concern. This hotel's claim to be a 4-star establishment is complete fabrication. Our experience was deplorable, marked by safety hazards, filth, and a shocking lack of basic functionality.Booking and Accessibility Failure Three months prior to our arrival, we booked the only King bedroom on the 7th floor. Crucially, due to my husband's heart condition and my back problems, we called the hotel directly multiple times to confirm they had a working elevator. We were assured that they did.The Arrival Nightmare and Safety RiskThe moment we arrived, the property looked like a low-budget, roadside motel, not a luxury hotel. There was a construction trailer blocking the entrance, and the area was covered in dirt. The check-in process was a disaster. The front desk lady confirmed our 7th-floor room and, upon being asked about the elevator, stated, "well, it is working on and off, but if you get stuck in, we have cameras to see you and then we will get you out!" The idea of being trapped in an elevator and think of the possibility of being rescue due to medical needs was terrifying. The elevator itself was loud, shaking, and sounded like it was ready to fall apart.Deplorable and Unsanitary RoomThe room we were assigned to, located in a dark hallway with a dirty carpet, was unacceptable:• Hygiene & Smell: The room reeked of mold. The old carpet and furniture were visibly dirty, and the weak lamps only served to illuminate the thick layer of dust covering the velvet headboard.• Shocking Decor: The room's decoration included a headless mannequin body that looks as if it was pulled from the trash, making the space feel like a set-up for a horror movie, not a place to rest.• Non-functional Basics: The bathroom had no working shower head—just a hose in the bath—and the toilet was not flushing. The "welcome kit" consisted of one can of water in the refrigerator.Forced Midnight Departure and FraudDue to these unacceptable conditions, which posed a threat to our health and safety, we immediately gathered our three huge suitcases and left after 11 PM. We were forced to seek a decent hotel late at night, praying the elevator wouldn't break on our descent. When confronted, the desk staff admitted that the elevator problems had started the previous week and, even worse, that water pressure doesn't reach the 7th floor, explaining the broken toilet and shower. We demanded our deposit and full payment back because our safety and the living conditions were deplorable. Our shock was compounded when I discovered they had charged me for the complete stay, despite our immediate departure from this pit of despair.FINAL WARNING: This hotel needs to be remodeled immediately and should stop lying about its star rating. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. I have plenty of photos to prove every single one of these claims. Mgmt HR, Directeur général at Les Plumes Hotel, responded to this review Dear Guest, We are truly sorry to read your review and to learn that your experience at Les Plumes Hotel did not meet your expectations. The elevator issue you mentioned occurred unexpectedly, and our team did everything possible to minimize the inconvenience while ensuring guest safety. We completely understand how this may have caused concern, particularly given your personal circumstances, and we are genuinely sorry for that. As for the construction work outside the hotel, it was part of public road maintenance entirely beyond our control. While we understand that this may have affected your first impression, we believe it would be unfair to hold the hotel accountable for external works managed by the city. Concerning the cleanliness and condition of the room, please rest assured that your comments have been taken very seriously.
