  Room w/ terrace was worth it.

  Pleasant & helpful front desk. Room with terrace on upper floor is delightful. Terrace view of rooftops. Spacious room by Paris standards. Room even nicer than the photos. Comfortable bed. Curtains are room darkening. Well-appointed and stylish bathroom with good shampoo. conditioner & bath gel products. Appreciated the fridge (with water & soda), safe, microwave, coffee/tea, bottle opener, & towel warmer. Enjoyed the pool with jets, and small sauna, which you book for 45 minutes, so it is private. Both indoor and outdoor area for dining is pleasant. Barhelp was friendly. Cleaning service was wonderful. Fresh towels each day. AC worked very well. Even though room was next to elevator, it was fairly quiet. Very nice place! It exceeded my expectations.

  Gorgeous, well decorated rooms. Bathroom was large with high quality bath products, heated towel rack and plush towels. The staff is friendly, efficient and unobtrusive. All transactions including check-in, billing and housekeeping were seamless. A delightful stay.

  I stayed at this hotel for two nights. I'd like to compliment Philipe and the rest of the staff; they were very kind to us. The problem is that I booked a deluxe room, and both on Booking.com and the hotel's website, the room is advertised as 25 square meters. My husband is an architect, so when we entered room 13, we saw that it was smaller than 25 square meters. We asked the front desk if our room was a superior or deluxe, and they told us that was the correct one, but we measured it, and it was 17 square meters! Therefore, what they advertise is either fake or they deceived us. Rest assured that we have passed on your compliments to all of our teams.We understand your disappointment regarding the size of your room and would like to clarify the situation: obviously, we do not engage in false advertising and would have no interest in doing so... Le Ballu was created in two Parisian buildings that were not originally built for hotel use: no two rooms are alike within the same category, there is no standardization! We have 10 luxury rooms in the hotel, all of which are different.When marketing a hotel, it is necessary to determine a generic surface area for each category, so the most obvious thing to do is to calculate the average of the total number of rooms. In our 10 luxury rooms, we have 2 rooms measuring 30 m², 3 rooms measuring 24 m², 3 rooms measuring 25 m² and 2 rooms measuring 20 m²... the average of 24.7 m² is rounded up to 25 m² on Booking.com and our website. It should also be noted that the advertised size of a hotel room refers to the total area: bedroom + bathroom. Room 13, where you stayed, is indeed one of the least spacious rooms in this category, but its remarkable ceiling height of 3.80 meters, its location away from the hallway, and its kitchenette area set back from the bedroom led us to classify it as a luxury room. We hope that these clarifications will reassure you of our integrity and that you will agree that the rating of 3/5 is somewhat harsh.   1st class Morgan service!

  We stayed here and after an exhausting but amazing evening we were not only looked after by all staff, we feel compelled to mention some members of the team this hotel has as they quite simply were amazing! Jack was a great porter and looked after us very well. Thankyou sir. Gold medal is to Morgan (English spelling sorry) who was so attentive to our requests, needs and simply showed us 1st class customer service to myself and my partner who are also in the industry. Thankyou Morgan, you made our evening amazing and we are very grateful. Keep hold of this member of staff. Or we may have to ask her to move to England 😂. Thankyou again. Aran & Amelia.

  Beautiful suite, plenty of room, comfortable. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Help arrange for a taxi that could fit 4 people and luggage to leave for the airport.
