Looks can be deceiving

The place is BIG and near to the Theatre where i worked . The rooms spacious . I was impressed . But small things changed my point of view . The room was very hot - sun shining into it all day - and the AC not working as we were “ nearing winter time “ - unable to take a nap . The second day after breakfast i closed the thick curtains to keep the sun out while rehearsing , only to find them opened by room service after a rehearsal : another 30 degrees / Breakfast is luxuriously late until 11.00 a.m. but arriving at 9.30 , the yoghurt is gone , the bacon is gone and the omelet ( made of eggpowder ) gone . I said something about it and in due course things reappeared - 45 minutes later . The hotel has potential but is “ lazy “ . I would not return .

An amazing place but with a wrong service people and maintenance.Too much humidity and a lot of dark mark in bathroom and walls which is not acceptable.I have missed my breakfast in the morning for not having a right information the day before before checking in so Iam so annoying! Coming to a hotel no breakfast.I will come back once again and see if there is improvements

One year later, sucks even worse

Worn beds, torn up bedsheets, hot sweaty cheap synthetic linnen, leaking toilets, broken faucets, cracked water soaked walls, broken shower, limestone all over, worn carpet, aircon barely working, electrical outlets hanging off the wall (safe for your kids), firealarm STILL going off at random, breakfast even smaller at a huge price, restaurant closed at will, staff doesn’t care, nor does housekeeping.How does this place get 4 stars??? 116 a night? 2-3 stars, maybe.Avoid, please! Visited 3 times longterm, no improvement at all.

At first look this hotel has a great appearance, with full equipment of the room (we are in family suite - they have a bed, separate office area, spare room, a toilet, bathroom, and a kitchen) - and on first impression, very tidy.However as we stay with the hotel we begin to encounter several unpleasant experience and details - the hotel management has a very nonchalant attitude. When we call reception for service (i.e. to mend a broken kitchen heating plate, fix a broken light, provide bath robes) - reception speaks poor English and when they say they will call you back - they never do.The hotel cleaning service is also quite poor. The cleaning staff leaves the bathroom in a worst state after their cleaning (our personal belongings were knocked over the counter, body gel bottles with caps open were left on the floor and the shower gel oozing out). They don't supply toilet paper or tissue refill as normal level hotel does. In general - very disappointed in the hotel management and level of service. Overall a bad experience here - would not recommend for long stay. (The hotel cleans the room once a week for longer stay guests - and asks the guest to buy their own toilet paper, trash bag, etc - so it's closer to an apartment rent with no support than their branding of "Aparthotel".

My family of 4 stayed here over night twice when we were passing through from Switzerland to Brittany. I read many pretty bad reviews from many people and was initially worried about staying here but it actually turned out ok for us.We had a family room for 4 (suite) and it was massive... Beds were comfortable, showers were great and the hotel was within 10 minutes walk to the nearby shopping centre for a bit of shopping or something to eat.Reception staff and restaurant staff were friendly and helpful.Yes there were some parts of the room which could do with some attention but for an over night stay after a very long drive we didn't mind that much. I would definitely stay here again next year when we will do the same trip again.
