Awful not clean and staff awful

I done my research on this hotel and reviews stated it was good this was not our experience we came on the Monday of 24th October 2025 and the room smelled so bad with the toilet and we had said it a few times and got told they where getting it fixed this was not the case they poured something into the toilet it got worse and worse and there was also wires sticking out of the wall and it wasent clean at all we finally got moved on the 2 nd last day of a 5 day trip we were so anoid at this point and didn’t wanna go to hotel at the end of each day as we where dreading the smell we where also told we could have a discount we did not get this at all we checked out today on the 24th of October I was never so glad to leave this place it was the worst experience of my life in a hotel and the breakfast we also paid for we never even got to eat cause when we got downstairs there was as never anything left this place was horrible there was one staff who was nice the other not so much we felt like a convenience asking could they fix the toilet all the time was so unsettling I’d stay well clear and wouldn’t go near this place ever again

Well modernised with good quality, and sufficient equipped rooms with all necessities for a good nights sleep. Excellent breakfast. Quiet surroundings in a central place in Marais, near several Metro Stations. You are in the neighbourhood of Gare du Nord, Canal Saint Martin and several famous restaurants like Bouillon Julien.

Great staff, inconsistent hot water

The staff here are great. Lovely and friendly and keen to help.The room is small as you expect in a Paris hotel but clean and perfectly comfortable.The hot water supply was inconsistent and we needed to call reception on several occasions to get it sorted. The staff were very receptive to this however we only had 1 really hot shower during our 2 night stay.If future reviews demonstrate the hot water has been fixed I would have no hesitation to recommend this great value hotel.

Very good location, half an hour's walk from the Gare du Nord. Close to Canal St-Martin and the Marais.There are many convivial cafes and restaurants in the area (rue René Boulanger and the square at the Théâtre de la Renaissance).Very friendly and helpful receptionists.The room and bathroom are very small, but clean, modern and functional.The breakfast buffet is rather limited, but the products are fresh and delicious.Very small elevator - not suitable for people with claustrophobiaWifi is not so good : you had to log in again and again with username and password.

This is a very good 2* hotel. The rooms are clean and well equipped and the bed is comfy. The staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast although limited in range is fresh and tasty. The lift is tiny and didn’t inspire confidence and rooms are tight. The hotel is easily walkable from Gare de Nord, Gare de Est, Place de la Republique and many good restaurants. We also walked to the Louvre in 40 mins. Recommended.
