    Highly recommend

    rating27 May 2026

We stayed for three nights to explore Paris for the first time. Spacious room with extra large double bed and lovely windows opening onto the courtyard. Great staff, wonderful veranda bar and breakfast was a standout.

    Cancelled reservations

    rating24 May 2026

I booked a hotel a good time ago through booking.com. I then received an email today (6 weeks before travel) that my booking is cancelled with no explanation. I have contacted the hotel and been told it was a ‘cyberattack’ so the details they held were not secure and they needed to cancel all booking. I requested to rebook but now the room I had reserved for four nights is no longer available at the same price and they would be happy to rebook but now as it is short notice will be almost three times more expensive! Unbelievably sad and such poor customer service. I included copies of what I had our paid but of course why would they now when they can charge lots more!!!

    Classic Stylish Paris Accommodations

    rating21 May 2026

Conveniently located in Montparnasse, Hotel Le Littre offers classic Parisian style. It is close to the Metro, restaurants, and a wine bar. The breakfast was very good too, offering everything from eggs, charcuterie, cheese, pastries, fruit, and more. I like that it is in a relatively quiet neighborhood, but easy to get anywhere in Paris.

This is a great cozy hotel. The staff is so attentive and the rooms are clean and not noisy at night. I would highly recommend it.

Left Without Accommodation at 1 AM

    rating14 May 2026

If the hotel really suffered some kind of cyberattack or system failure, then the biggest issue here is not even the technical problem itself it is how they handled it.A serious hotel knows perfectly well that if reservations are inaccessible or unusable, guests will still continue arriving throughout the night expecting accommodation. And yet apparently nobody considered it necessary to notify customers in advance. No email. No Booking.com message. No phone call. Nothing. So what happened instead? We arrived in Paris around 1 AM with a confirmed reservation shown in the Booking.com app, only to be told at reception that there was “no reservation” and that they could not accommodate us.At that point it is already too late. Most decent hotels nearby are sold out, prices are massively inflated at night, transportation becomes a problem, and people are left standing outside with luggage after a long trip trying to urgently find somewhere to sleep. This entire situation could have been avoided with the most basic customer communication. If your systems are compromised, then cancel the bookings. Notify guests. Send automatic emails. Put staff on calls. Spend money on emergency support. That is literally part of running a professional hotel business.Instead, it feels like the hotel consciously chose the cheapest possible option: do nothing, let people continue arriving, and only inform them about the problem once they physically appear at reception in the middle of the night.Technical failures happen. Cyberattacks happen. But abandoning guests without warning is a management failure, not a technical one. What makes this even worse is the attitude we received from reception. There was no real apology, no urgency, no attempt to proactively relocate us, and no meaningful assistance despite the fact that the hotel clearly knew there was a serious issue affecting reservations.A hotel is supposed to provide reliability and safety for travelers. In this case, the “confirmed reservation” turned out to be completely meaningless.
