  Worst experience! Please be aware about their scam!! Poorest customer service! Their elevator does not work. Very very unprofessional! They loose power frequently, the front desk noted us entire block is out of power! Once power back they moved us to another floor and that floor had no power either! We asked the front desk is that the entire area? He said no not the area, their hotel having issues! We are so disappointed to stay here. No hot water!!! Nothing! It was pitch black!!! Omg they need to fix their own issues without blaming the customer! Please don’t stay there. It’s a family owned hotel and they do and act whatever they feel like to. No policy in place!

  Well located reasonably priced hotel with nice staff.

  Reasonably priced hotel in central area of city, conveniently located near 2 metro stations. Being Paris, room was very small though very clean and nicely presented and serviced by staff daily. Bathroom space was very limited too but more than adequate. Air conditioning functioned well thankfully as we were in Paris during severe heatwave.Reception staff were sincerely friendly and willing to assist which really stands out.There was a power cut that affected a few guests during the night and I had to go down to reception to report as there was no phone in room though dealt with and resolved quickly.

  Inexpensive hotel that is overpriced.

  Rooms are super super small. Bathrooms are smaller and in disrepair. There is not room to turn around with the door closed. Air conditioning was ineffective on the 3rd floor with average summer temps (not a heat wave). Elevator did not work (carrying suitcases up/down 3 flights of stairs). Breakfast was eh. No lobby space/bar/room to sit in when claustrophobic in room. Close to metro. Cheap, yet still expensive for what you get.

  The hotel is in a residential neighborhood, and well llocated - a 10 minute walk to the Metro at Place de la Nation, which has a number of lines to go all over Paris. There is also a metro stop - Picpus- across from the hotel, which has line 6. The staff imembers are very friendly and helpful. The room is small but very clean and has a small fridge, a coffee/tea set-up with an electric kettle, and a safe. The bed was very comfortable and the shower had extraordinary water pressure. There is a boulangerie on the corner, and a good Italian restaurant, Amalfi, on the same street, and many other restaurants on the neighboring streets. The hotel breakfast, which we ate twice, was a very good buffet which included croissants, Cafe, juice, eggs, ham, cheese, yogurt and cerea, and fresh fruit. I will happily stay again.

  Superb Stay at Hotel Lux Picpus Paris

  An unassuming but treasuresome hotel in the 12th Arr! Staff are so friendly and helpful way beyond expectation. Excellent value too. It's slightly off the beaten track but only 30 mins from Gare du Nord on the Metro. We made the mistake of getting a taxi on the way in - 40 Euro - Booking.com offers this for 60 Euro to pre-book.Excellent value - only had breakfast once - 22 Euro for 3. Recommended without hesitation.
