    Pretty high quality smallish hotel, with modest but effective swimming pool and gym and spa. Very good location near Vendome so central for major sight and on well connected metro lines on the doorstep. Very helpful staff.     Many positives and a few opportunities for improvement.

    I just completed a 5 day stay. Cost was approximately $3000 USD. Hotel is well appointed and clean in a good neighborhood. Front desk staff are pleasant and helpful. At breakfast, the eggs and bread were excellent, but the croissant were distinctly mediocre (for Paris!). Room was well appointed but much too warm. I set the thermostat every night to 19 C, but the room remained over 25 no matter what I did (including asking the front desk for assistance). Window faced the inner courtyard, which was noisy at night. The linens were high quality. However, there were upholstered turquoise pillows and an embroidered throw that were placed on the bed daily; they are clearly used for all guests without cleaning in between (always a red flag and kind of gross). The hotel advertises its spa - but that really consists only of a tiny pool (much too small for swimming) in the basement that is kept at around 90 degrees F and a closet of a workout room with a few weights and a stationary bike. I paid for a gym in the neighborhood. The bathroom in my room was pleasant and well-appointed, though the shower had a mildew odor. In summary, a pleasant hotel but not really worth $600 USD per night.     Tres Magnifique en Paris!

    The Maison Albar hotel was incredible. Upon arrival, the staff were incredibly welcoming and kind. They were understanding and service was impeccable. We were greeted with peanut and white chocolate cookies and different flavors of juice. Not only that, but the suite was perfect for a family of four, having a queen bed and a sofa bed. Everything was very hygienic as well. The bedrooms, the bathrooms, the closets, etc. Another perk of this hotel was the location. It is located in a great area, right by the breathtaking, historic Paris Opera House, making it easy and convenient to go see an evening opera show or ballet. Not only is it near the opera district, but there are also several eateries around the area, such as a cafe straight across the street that serves great breakfasts. A major plus is the Galleries Lafayette, for those who enjoy shopping. Between the service, space, hygiene, and location, this hotel is a great place to stay!     Lovely 5 star hotel at Opera

    A fabulous week-long stay in Le Vendome. The team and service makes this hotel so much more special from other hotels and gives the atmosphere of a second home. We felt truly looked after by the whole team, thank you! The rooms are quiet, spotlessly clean and spacious with a really comfortable bed. The spa is a really nice way to start the day and a treat after a long day in Paris to wind down (pool with glass ceiling!). Location is amazing, right next to Opera and Gallerie La Fayette, walkable to most sights. We really enjoyed breakfast in the room as well - with dietary requests accommodated throughout our stay with no fail whole week.
