    My husband and I stayed for 3 nights. Maison Souquet is a truly personal hôtel which offers guests a feeling of intimacy whilst respecting privacy. Our bedroom was sumptous and elegant, the reception areas reflect the ambiance, romance and style of the belle epoch, the staff are very attentive, and the atmosphere one of seductive luxury. The opportunity for each couple to use the spa & pool in private enhanced our stay.Thankyou so much for making our stay so memorable.     We absolutely loved our time at Maison Souquet. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere, décor, and attention to detail made the hotel feel genuinely special. The interior is stunning—luxurious, intimate, and beautifully designed—and every space has its own unique charm.We booked directly through their website, which was smooth and straightforward, and the service throughout our stay was excellent. Every member of staff was warm, professional, and made us feel incredibly welcome. Our room was elegant and comfortable, with thoughtful touches everywhere. The bar and lounge areas are equally gorgeous, perfect for a quiet drink or simply soaking up the ambience.The only disappointment was that the steam room wasn’t working during most of our stay, and we hadn’t been told this when booking our time slot. After spending a long, cold day on a walking tour, we were really looking forward to warming up in the spa, the pool was quite cold so we left after about 20 minutes. It wasn’t fixed until our last day, and although we had booked a slot for 12:00, our Eurostar train was moved forward by 30 minutes, so we didn’t get to enjoy the spa experience as fully as we would have liked.That said, Maison Souquet still exceeded our expectations in every other way, and we would gladly stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for luxury, character, and a truly memorable Paris stay.     l to the point that it is a total ripoff and definitely not deserving of top luxury reviews. First of all, the place is filthy. See pictures. Carpet throughout is disgusting and rooms have not been properly clean. The dim lighting makes it hard to nice at first that you’re surrounded by filth. When we called down to complain about the cobwebs and films of dust everywhere, we didn’t even get so much as an apology. They just said “that happens sometimes, we will tell the maid to clean tomorrow.” The staff is also totally just phoning it in. They could care less about you, and are not polite or hospitable. And it’s all just strange. At one point the tiny silent lobby was filled with a delivery man hanging out on the sofa and a painter who was repairing the spa (which is looking sad too) was eating his lunch while blasting TikTok with no earbuds. It felt like the waiting room of the DMV. Management here has clearly stopped trying or caring years ago. Don’t waste your money! At this price point there are so many wonderful 5 star boutique hotels to experience in Paris.     Feast for the senses

    Wow just wow. I've been to a couple of small luxury 5 star hotels in central London, one in Soho. As nice and historic as they were they didn't come close to matching this divine establishment. Feast for the eyes and even my nose, smelt incredible throughout. And as for ears the wonderful friendly staff even remembered my itinerary the for the day when I returned. Late night bar and a magnificent room with Chinese theme (402). Bed and duvet super comfortable. And a lot cheaper than many 5 stars in Paris. And thank you to the owner for his welcoming note.
