  The hotel is really nice with a fun chilled vibe. It's very close to m1 so it's really easy to get to the centre of Paris , it is a bit out but it's fine. The rooms get very hot at night and there is no kettle or facilities for tea or coffee which is inconvenient in the mornings . It was nice and quiet for us , we slept well and the people working in the local area were so nice . We would stay again

  Traveled to the La Defense area of Paris for work and stayed at the Mama Shelter. Great location to where I needed to be for work but far from central Paris and the main tourist attractions. Just a brisk 45 mins walk to the Arc and the Metro Line 1 very close by. Hotel has fun décor and a fun vibe. The rooftop restaurant provides breakfast and a great view of the Eiffel Tower. Rooms are basic and modern. Bathroom is average size. Would I stay here again if traveling for work nearby? Yes. Would I stay here if traveling to Paris for pleasure? No. Location is just not the best.   The vacation in this hotel turned out to be extremely disappointing. The only thing to note here is the view from the window. This is where all the advantages end.There was no shower gel in the room, the service was absent at all. The air conditioning did not work. I had to beg for toilet paper at the reception as there was none in the room. The noise insulation is terrible - you can hear everything.The hotel does not take into account the needs of its guests at all. The water pressure in the shower is so weak that it is impossible to wash normally. On the guest's birthday the hotel administration did not react in any way, although they were repeatedly notified about it.I categorically do not recommend this hotel to anyone.   Stunning City View, Disappointing Service

  This hotel is a pretty picture with a good bed and a great city view. Unfortunately, the positives end there. For the price, you get zero service, unresolved problems, and even a lack of toilet paper in the room.The air conditioning was a major issue. The windows couldn't be opened, and the air conditioning worked poorly, making the room either too hot and humid or too cold.The shower water pressure was very weak, making it frustrating to use. The hygiene kit was disappointing, consisting only of two types of bar soap, cotton pads and earsticks. It was only replenished after asking at reception.The hotel hosts discos on the 14th floor every weekend. Light sleepers should be prepared for noise until late at night, which can be quite disturbing.Despite notifying the staff in advance about my spouse's birthday, there was no special recognition. After reminding them again, they brought two cookies, which were underwhelming.The floors throughout the hotel were incredibly dirty, causing shoes to stick, which was very unpleasant.We reported these issues to the reception, but the only solution offered was to change rooms. We believed the problems were building-wide (as mentioned in other reviews) and didn't want to give up the best part of our room – the view of the city.In conclusion, apart from the comfortable bed and the amazing view, this hotel falls short in many areas, especially in terms of service and cleanliness. For the price, I expected much better.   Perfect weekend in Paris!

  We had the best time at Mama Shelter La Defense. The hotel staff were all really friendly & helpful. Our room was a good size and the bed was SO comfortable. We went to the penthouse a couple times for drinks and the diner once for breakfast and everything was really delicious. The diner breakfast option was really good value. We also found the location, while further out, is really well connected and you’re in central Paris in no time. We will no doubt come back to this hotel again as we regularly visit Paris and this was a perfect experience.
