    Excellent Location. Friendly helpful staff

    rating21 Apr 2026

Loved the location of this hotel. It manages to be completely unpretentious whilst nestled in alongside Dior, Chanel & Burberry stores (& many more) in this beautiful fashion district.Lots of Paris’s most famous sights are very walkable from the hotel and the fabulous Flottes bar / restaurant is 2 doors down for dinner. The multilingual hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. From reception, concierge and housekeeping they really worked as a team to make sure everything worked for us.Special thanks to Ani for restaurant recommendations and bookings. Our room in the roof got very warm, even when chillier outside, so the air-con was a must. Room decor is a little gloomy and brown, not helped by having only one window in our room and a covered skylight (to block heat) but the bed was comfortable and the bathroom spacious. There was no chest of drawers, just an open shelf within the closet which was awkward to get to so I stored clothing in my suitcase on a stand. At breakfast there was a great selection of buffet items along with a choice of eggs cooked how you like them. It has a nice Café atmosphere watching the world go by as it’s located on the corner of 2 streets.I recommend this hotel to friends and hope to come back soon.

Amazing hotel: Super location and the breakfast is GREAT!

    rating25 Mar 2026

The Melia Paris Vendome is a wonderful hotel. I read many of the reviews before arriving; I don't understand the reviews about the breakfast buffet. There are three prices/choices for the buffet (the equivalent of continental, continental plus, and full buffet). Our vacation package came with the full buffet and this was literally the best part of our trip. The full buffet is unbelievable... a chef to make eggs or omelets, many charcuterie choices, any juice you can think of, breads, freshly baked croissants, beautiful fruits, wonderful coffee makers, and all you can drink bubbles! It was fantastic and our kiddos ate a ton. The Melia is also within walking distance to many of the popular Paris sites (all have been listed in the reviews). The hotel didn’t have many recommendations for dinner (we didn’t care for Flotts prices). We found three great places within a short walking distance from hotel - the Boulian Chartier (amazing, lower priced food and wine, but get there early or be prepared to stand in line), Le Florentin (italian right near hotel) and Relais Madeleine (right near hotel).I understand some of the reviews about the temperature in the rooms. We had two rooms. The girls' room was facing the street (the street noise is not bad at all) and the temperature in the room was great! The boys room was facing the inside “courtyard,” and was very warm the whole stay. But, it was not a big deal, as we just opened the window to let some cooler, fresh air in. We didn’t bother reporting it to the front desk, as we understood after reading the reviews. Hotel Manager, Owner at Melia Paris Vendome, responded to this review Dear Guest,We are thankful for your review and for the points you have raised. We’re glad the breakfast and location added value to your stay.Your insights on room climate and dining suggestions are appreciated as we continue improving. We look forward to seeing you again in the future.Best regards,Maxime Mathieu Front Office Manager

Our three days stay at Melia Vendome.

    rating06 Mar 2026

We were immediately greeted by Guillaume and he was a bright star in our entire stay! He was kind and very helpful! As we registered at the front desk we were met with frustration. Our room was not ready, but a room could be ready at 20 Euro per hour extra!! Our room was typical European style and our bed very comfortable. The access to tub is very high. And our room was right next to the elevator and very noisy. We had a pretty courtyard view. The breakfast had lots of options and the food was delicious. Johanna was delightful and made sure our visit was very nice. The entire staff at breakfast was very nice. The location of the hotel is absolutely wonderful. There’s lots of restaurants and many sites that are very close to the area. Such as the Place De La Concorde and the Louvre. Hotel Manager, Owner at Melia Paris Vendome, responded to this review Dear Sir,We appreciate you bringing your observations to our attention. We’re delighted to hear that Guillaume’s attentive service made your stay memorable and that Johanna and the breakfast team contributed to your enjoyable mornings with their warm hospitality. We regret the inconvenience during check-in and are reviewing our processes to ensure smoother arrivals. Your feedback about the room’s proximity to the elevator and bath accessibility has been noted, as we continuously seek ways to enhance guest comfort. It’s wonderful to know our central location allowed you to explore nearby attractions with ease, and that the courtyard view added charm to your Parisian experience. We all hope to welcome you back in the future.Best wishes,Maxime Mathieu Front Office Manager

    Diamond in meed of polishing

    rating18 Jan 2026

Journey begins with a superb location. Lobby nice. Rooms good size but worn out is an understatement. Carpet pre world war 2. Hiw can a hotel in such location be left in such a state. Another plus the receptionists and manager. They did their outmost to accomodate us elsewhere with minimum discomfort. . . . Amazing location and breakfast, but some challenges

    rating09 Jan 2026

There are a ton of positives about this hotel. The location cannot be beat (especially if you like to shop at high end stores.) the hotel is just off the corner of St. Honore street which is like Rodeo Drive. It is also across the street from Tullieres Gardens and a very quick walk to the Louvre. The morning breakfast is very good. The pastries are delicious and warm (freshly baked) and a very good selection of other options (including champagne). The rooms are fine size-wise. We had a “premium room”. We have also come to expect smaller room sizes in Europe so nothing egregious about that. The staff were friendly and helpful and spoke English very well. Where the experience could have been better was:1) the king sized bed was actually two twin beds pushed together and made separately. Not even made to look like one bed. And the beds were not super comfortable. Not awful though2) the shower/bath tub is very high so getting in and out was treacherous and it only has half a glass door so of course water splashes everywhere. Water pressure was not great and the water never got super hot.3) the heat in our room did not work. And mind you this was the coldest winter in Paris in years. It was snowing. They sent someone to fix it and they couldn’t. They could not switch rooms for us so they brought up a space heater, which while effective just did not feel safe4) the only have plugs with USB ports on one side of the bed, which in 2026 just feels outdated. I had to plug everything in at the desk. 5) and this isn’t entirely the hotels fault, but they could addressed the issue better. We arrived on January 2nd and all of the stores started taking down their holiday decorations that night. So from 11pm-4am every night, for three nights there was INCESSANT noise and I am not exaggerating. Scissors lifts going up and down with that constant beeping. The sound of heavy items being thrown in a dumpster, very loud talking by the hardworking crew, which sounded like they were right outside our window. I am a heavy sleeper (l have bad hearing so it takes a lot to wake me up) and I woke up every night and struggled to get back to sleep. 6)and this is a minor inconvenience that I have experienced before: the elevators are VERY TINY. Like one person and two suitcases fit. So I took the luggage up and down and my husband took the stairs. Thankfully we were only on the 2nd floor.Overall the hotel is a good option for the location, cleanliness and quality of staff and food, but not a 4 star experience in my book. Hotel Manager, Owner at Melia Paris Vendome, responded to this review Dear Sir,Thank you for taking the time to review your stay.Thank you for highlighting our unbeatable location and the quality of our gastronomic experiences, including the breakfast offerings. Our team takes pride in delivering a welcoming service culture, and we’re thrilled this stood out during your visit. We’ve noted your comments on room amenities and facilities, which help us identify areas for enhancement. The external noise encountered during holiday decor removal was an unusual circumstance, and we regret any disruption to your rest. While our historic building presents some spatial constraints, we strive to maintain comfort alongside its unique charm. We look forward to welcoming you back.Best regards,Maxime Mathieu, Manager
