Excellent stay in an amazing location!

    rating14 Jul 2025

Great location! We were able to walk to the July 14th fireworks at the Eiffel Tower, which was truly amazing, as well as see the nightly Eiffel Tower "sparkle". There are so many great restaurants and bakeries in the area, as well as supermarkets and laundromats. Room was great although we didn't spend that much time at the hotel as we were out exploring. We were very happy with our stay, and would definitely stay again! Mélanie B, General Manager at Mercure Paris Tour Eiffel Grenelle Hotel, responded to this review Dear Karen,Thank you for your delightful feedback regarding your recent stay at Hôtel Mercure Paris Tour Eiffel Grenelle. I can almost see the Eiffel Tower from here !

    rating03 Apr 2025

Stayed in this area of Paris before, but first time in this hotel, but would definitely look at this hotel in the future. Great location for the Champs de Mars and the Eifell Tower and Metro Line 6 Dupliex station is directly across the road. Also, the hotel is next door to the "Au Dernier Metro" bar, a great place for food and watching sport on tv. Had a great night with other rugby supporters after the France v Scotland rugby international.Would definitely visit again.

Does what it says on the tin!

Just a 5-minute walk to the iconic Eiffel Tower—whether you’re admiring the view from your room or strolling through the city, the magic of Paris is right at your doorstep.Conveniently located with the metro right at the hotel’s doorstep, making it easy to explore all that Paris has to offer. The rooms are cosy and perfect for a relaxing stay, though some areas of the hotel feel a bit tired, and the bathroom lacks privacy. Still, it’s an ideal spot for a weekend getaway! And don’t forget to choose a room with an Eiffel Tower view for that extra touch of Parisian magic.

    Basic and overpriced

    rating04 Jan 2025

This is a basic hotel. Basic hotels should not be charging ~1000 euros for 4 nights. It’s a shame, we really wanted to like this hotel but it was a big let down. The place feels quite run down. The room was tiny. You could not swing a cat in it. The beds are hard, the pillows are flat. Breakfast is overpriced. This hotel doesn’t live up to the standard of other Mercure hotels around the world. There is only one elevator which takes forever and the hotel staff, cleaners etc. will hold it up regularly because there is no service lift. We waited for over 10 minutes one time because the cleaners were keeping it open on one floor. There is a small lounge/library area in the lobby which we thought was for the benefit of guests. My partner sat down there just to get some time away from the tiny, cramped room only for the hotel reception to ask if he had a room there, like he was some random that had just drifted in off the street. The only redeeming feature is the location. It is a short walk to the Eiffel Tower and there is a metro station across the road. In summary, I would not recommend this hotel. There are other nicer hotels around the area that offer better value for money. Be careful.

    rating26 Jun 2024

I did not have a good experience at this hotel and staff were not helpful, I had some issues that I had to get police involved and the manager did not talk to me once. As a solo female traveller I would not recommend and I wasn’t safe here. I will say the room was nice and it’s a good location :) Mélanie B, General Manager at Mercure Paris Tour Eiffel Grenelle Hotel, responded to this review Dear Tara,We sincerely apologize to hear that your stay at the hotel did not meet your expectations. The safety and well-being of our guests are our top priority, and we regret any issues you encountered during your stay. However, it’s important to emphasize that vigilance is everyone’s responsibility. In a public place like a hotel, it’s always unwise to leave personal belongings unattended. We’re glad you enjoyed the room and the hotel’s location. Thank you for sharing your experience, and we hope you’ll consider staying with us again in the future.
