This charming city hotel is located in the heart of Paris city centre, between the Gare du Nord station (about 200 m) and the Gare de L'Est near the Paris Opera (about 2 km). It is also not far to Notre Dame (approximately 2 km), the Stade de France football stadium, and the Champs Elsées (both about 4 km). Facility

48 rooms, including 5 single rooms and 25 double rooms, are located on 7 storeys and can be reached by lift.     The hotel’s situation is excellent for Gare du Nord and Gare de l’Est but sadly it is below the standard we expect of Mercure. The hotel appears rather run down and shambolic. On our return visit there was no kettle in our room and I had to ask twice for it. The bathroom in our bedroom had only a curtain not a door. This is not acceptable for a hotel of this standard.

    Hotel is located about 10 minute walk from Gare Du Nord Station.Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are small but adequate for 2 adults.All necessities are available in the room. Free coffee and water available in reception area. Numerous restaurants and cafes nearby. You can walk to most attractions if able, if not metro is easy and efficient.

    Worst Mercure experience ever

    Worst Mercure experience ever. Let me start by the only good side: the breakfast is really good.Problems:- When I arrived it took me sometime to realize that I was in a hotel. The person in the “reception” (a table in the middle of the lobby) was educated, but not well trained. For some reason the person is not wearing any identification, always with a headphone and speaking less than the basics regarding all information needed.- There is no bar or lounge. I asked for a bottle of wine and it took some minutes to the reception guy to understand my request (low level of English proficiency from the staff) and there wasn’t any bottle available.- The room is not nice and very outdated.- The air-conditioning system wasn’t working properly. - In one day, my wife and I arrived around 9:30PM and alongside 5 more guests we had to wait outside for many minutes (zero degrees) because there wasn’t anyone in the reception. We got inside only because another guest went down to the reception by luck. After many more minutes I tried to complain to the receptionist, but the guy (unidentified) told me that he was sorry, that he was in the 7th floor solving some issue and that he was alone. Don’t stay at this hotel! Worst experience in many years! Avoid this low level of experience.

    Tidy smart small room suitable for an overnight stay

    Mercure by name but not by nature. It felt like an independent hotel that had been taken over by the chain and was slowly going through a rebrand. The room was small but clean and the bed was comfortable.The bathroom was very good with a lovely rainforest shower but frosted glass partitions were all that separated it from the main bedroom.The air conditioning did not work properly so I slept badly due to waking up from overheating - I run at a high temperature so like my rooms cool. Having said that the staff were friendly and the location is ideal for central Paris sightseeing or catching a train from Gare de Nord station.

    I recommended this hotel if you want to stayed near Gare du Nord, the room is clean, the amenities is very good, the staff is very friendly and helpful especially Loic he’s very kind and really helpful.
