    Worst hotel ever. We were told the AC was not working on arriving. This is in the middle of worse heat wave. No apology from the receptionist. He simply told us that you either take it or leave it. I can cancel your room right away. This was at MIDNIGHT when we got no where to go and super tired from the late flight.

    The management is absolutely terrible. Before arrival, we were told the deposit would be €50, but once we arrived, they demanded €350 (€50 x 7)!Communication is non-existent. We tried contacting them numerous times before our trip, but they either never replied or took weeks to get back to us. They have zero interest in helping guests or solving problems. Complete ignorance and lack of professionalism. Save yourself the trouble and book elsewhere.

    🚫 Very Disappointing Experience at Mercure Hotel, ParisI stayed at the Mercure Hotel in Paris and had a very bad experience during breakfast. We entered the buffet area at 9:40 AM, and although the closing time was 10:00 AM, half of the items were already missing.As vegetarians, we were looking forward to some basic options like potatoes and vegetables, but the staff informed us that everything was finished and refused to bring any more food — even though it was still within breakfast hours.We repeatedly requested them, but they were rude and unhelpful. In the end, we only had juice, as there was nothing else available. For a hotel that claims to offer a good breakfast and hospitality, this was unacceptable.If you’re planning to stay here, don’t expect a proper breakfast or friendly service. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had in Paris.

    Decent hotel at a decent price

    I can see a lot of negative reviews which, thankfully I hadn’t seen before I visited. Personally I didn’t have a bad experience here. From my perspective the location, close to train station was great. A small shopping centre is opposite and cinemas etc.. are a 10 min walk. Easy access to the Eiffel Tower and getting rides from Bolt of Uber was easy and there is parking right near the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. I didn’t eat at the hotel so can’t comment about prices or quality. Ultimately I needed a bed for the night and a room with aircon in a good location and that is exactly what I got.

    The hotel is old, the room smelled of tobacco so we had to request to be moved. As the previous reviews, avoid. Any inside room view feels like a prison. Not a hotel to be staying in, in Paris!
