    Charming hotel and staff but needs some further thought…..

    The staff and manager were excellent. Looking at prices the stay that week was a lot. The beds were very comfortable. I always feel in a 5* hotel the mini bar is overpriced. We stayed via Mr and Mrs Smith so the courtesy bottle of champagne was very appreciated. I didn’t expect to pay for water in the fridge. Water was supplied but it should have been put in the fridge instead of expensive alternatives.     Our stay at The Monsieur George Hotel was wonderful. The staff was lovely, helpful and very efficient. Christopher ourConcierge went above and beyond our expectations to make our stay effortless and memorable. He arranged transportation, made great suggestions for food and shopping and did it all with charm and confidence.     My stay at Monsieur George was truly one of the most beautiful hotel experiences I have ever had. From the moment I arrived, everything felt warm, elegant, and deeply thoughtful. Before coming to Paris, I spent a long time searching for the perfect location, and this hotel was exactly what I was hoping for hidden in a quiet refined corner right behind the Champs-Élysées, literally a two-minute walk away, yet somehow peaceful and private at the same time. What made the location even more perfect was that everything I needed was nearby: Turkish restaurants for Halal food and shops with halal food options, a laundry service, cafés, pharmacies, and everything within walking distance.As someone who only eats halal food, I truly appreciated the effort the staff made to accommodate me. Whenever something was unavailable, they would kindly recommend thoughtful alternatives instead. The desserts were absolutely incredible, and every single day I would come back to my room and find a different small gift or sweet waiting for me. Those little details made the stay feel personal, warm, and unforgettable.But the decoration… honestly, it deserves its own review. Green is my favorite color, and this hotel felt like living inside a green diamond. The photos are beautiful, but in reality it is something completely different. The deep green marble, the gold details, the candles, the lighting, the scent, the atmosphere — every single corner felt luxurious, intimate, and artistic in the most effortless way. It is one of the very few hotels where you can feel emotion in the design, not just luxury. Every amount spent on this hotel was absolutely worth it.The small garden became one of my favorite places as well — filled with green trees and elegant little tables where you can sit quietly at the end of the day, think, work, breathe, or simply enjoy Paris in silence. It had such a calming and beautiful energy.The rooms were equally amazing. The decoration, the bed, the pillows, the comfort — everything was perfect and made it genuinely difficult to leave the room every morning. The hotel also has a beautiful spa, and there is another excellent spa right next to it, which made the experience even more relaxing and luxurious.What truly made this hotel unforgettable, though, was the staff. From the receptionists to the housekeeping team, everyone went far beyond any luxury standard I have experienced before. Every request I had was handled immediately and always with kindness. Sometimes they even helped me inside the room when I had too many things to carry. I asked for extra hangers, different ironing equipment, and even help while packing, and everything was provided instantly without hesitation.I already cannot wait for next May to book again — but this time, my stay will definitely be much longer. The only small recommendation I would suggest is adding a handheld bidet spray in the bathrooms, which would make the experience even more comfortable for many international guests.It is very rare to find a hotel that makes you feel genuinely cared for, not simply welcomed.     Gorgeous hotel, perfect location, and amazing service! The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, and the soundproofing is excellent. The front desk staff are so friendly, as well as the bartenders. The shining star was Christopher the concierge; who went above and beyond and could not have been more helpful and charming and efficient. Highly recommend!
