    Most terrible experience I have had. They charged full and AC wasn’t working and the manager was so rude that he asked us to sleep without the AC. Outside temperature was 30 degrees and they had no AC working. Absolutely rude staff and cheated us completely.. Christian Cambournac, Propriétaire at Hotel Montparnasse Saint-Germain, responded to this review quel commentaire injuste ! si caractéristique de ces commentaires destructeurs si faciles à émettre pour nuire à autrui en toute impunité..la climatisation fonctionnait parfaitement à l'arrivée du client en fin de journée, il est simplement apparu qu'il coulait un peu d 'eau par terre au bout d'un momentpar conséquent, je suis allé moi-même chercher à voir le problème et suis resté jusqu'à 22 h pour essayer de trouver une solutionil s'est avéré que la pompe de relevage était cassée, ce qui peut arriver, comme à tout matérielj'ai appelé la société de maintenance à 8 h ce matin, la réparation a été faite cet après-midipeut-on faire mieux ? cela justifie t'il un tel déchaînement de mauvaise humeur ?j'ajoute que ce client s'est montré extrémement désagréable avec mon veilleur de nuit et l'a harcelé jusqu'à minuit, le poussant même à me téléphoner à cette heure ! ce qui fut fait !stop ! de tels comportements sont inadmissibles et c'est la raison pour laquelle je prends le soin d'écrire ce que j'en pensecela ne changera pas la note hélas, mais ce n'est pas tout dans la vieC CambournacPropriétaire

    It‘s small hotel mostly renovated. It’s situated vis-à-vis to the Montparnasse Tower. So the location is quite central.The negative aspects: The rooms are tiny. The bathroom especially the toilet wasn’t clean. The breakfast is totally basic and I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s cheaper and has more flair to go to one of the cafe’s or boulangeries around the corner. A absolutely basic hotel which is Paris-like overpriced.

    As soon you in the room, it is bearable.The stairwell and everything else is in good condition but ... somehow sad and strange. In general you have the feeling that at some point an old building was renovated but: 1. not really high quality 2. half-heartedly. The elevator is from a time when you still had a lot of time.The bed was comfortable. But...I don't know what the towels are washed with, but although they are fluffy and naturally fresh, the smell (at least for me) is almost unbearable.There are other, much more pleasant 3-star hotels in Paris for the same money or even less.

    after steven attempts to get one bathrobe per person we gave upthe key system for entering the rom broke down two-theee times per dayno fridge in room, no welcome when entering the bar, nor goodnightif you want service go elsewhere

    I took my 14 year old daughter to Paris for her 14th birthday. I’ve been to Paris quite a few times and always stay in Montparnasse, it’s a great area lots of lovely bars and restaurants and very accessible to all the sites. This hotel has by far been the best. Very clean, lovely smell on entering and followed by a lovely welcome from Roxanna, who went out of her way to help on travel plans etc. Roxanna is a credit to your hotel and I hope you, (the hotel owners), appreciate her, she deserves a raise. Our room was great, very clean, a twin as requested. Great bathroom with L’occitane en Provence products, unexpected for the price we paid. The room was a good size, for Paris and the price. It ticked all the boxes. Breakfast was great, we were left to do as we pleased and help ourselves. The usual coffee, bread, meats, cheese, juices, eggs, cereals, fruit etc. Free WiFi which worked well. Overall 10/10. Thank you and see you on our next Paris trip
