  Really fun hotel and great sleep.

  We had a great stay for 3 nights in this hotel. It’s a bit 1980s quirky but that made it fun. Front desk was super helpful and breakfast had a wide selection of hot and cold food items. metro is a few steps away and easy to get into central Paris. Slept really great - bed was comfy and the rooms were clean and well insulated. Might need a touch up of paint here and there but nothing major in high traffic areas. Would defiantly stay again.

  I had booked Remix Hotel for a 7-night work trip but had to leave early after experiencing insect infestations on 3 separate nights across 2 rooms — something that is unacceptable in any hotel, let alone one rated four stars.I recorded insects in my room over three nights—crawling in and out of my open luggage, bags, and clothes. The worst was an insect emerging from a clean dress and then between my breasts. This was the third incident after changing rooms twice, including twice after midnight. Anyone seeing this in a supposed 4-star superior room would find it deeply disturbing.Two different insect colonies appeared present—the winged insect on my pillow and the later pests seem to be different species. The repeated sightings over several days and rooms indicate a widespread, unresolved infestation, not an isolated case.What was worse than the infestation itself was the lack of urgency or empathy from staff. After each incident, I had to ask for a new room, which I could tell the staff found inconvenient. Rather than apologizing or acknowledging how serious this was, their tone made me feel like I was the problem for noticing it. No manager was on-site Sunday, when the problem became unbearable, and the hotel team showed no concern. I had to book another hotel at my own expense before my workweek began, all while managing demanding work responsibilities.I spent €630+ on professional laundry and disinfection after the hotel dismissed my concerns, with the manager calling them “harmless ants.” As a scientist, I know even indoor ants can carry pathogens, posing a serious hygiene and health risk.Lastly, I have stayed in two other 4-star hotels in the same area during this trip, and none of them exhibited this kind of pest issue. If Remix Hotel cannot maintain the same standard of cleanliness and pest control, I do not understand how it continues to hold the same 4-star rating.  Hygiene, safety, and trust were all compromised.If pests in rooms are accepted under local standards, booking platforms and check-ins should clearly warn guests—especially international travelers—so they know what to expect at a French hotel claiming a 4-star rating.

  Very convenient access to the metro station, literally 2 steps away from the entrance. The rooms are cosy, clean, and modern. The staff at reception was very friendly and helpful. Appreciated the pods to work downstairs and the overall ambiance at the bar.

  OK hotel let down by customer service

  The hotel is sort of alright. It has a strong 80s style, and the rooms, though small, are functional. It's well connected, with a Metro station outside and bus stops nearby.. It's not the nicest area, but I never felt unsafe. Workman-like continental breakfast. It is let down by poor customer service and inattention to detail. Claiming to offer room service, it simply didn't. Sorry monsieur. One night the bar was closed. The bsrman is sick. Sorry monsieur. No deadlock or chain for the room door. Safe too small for a laptop. Wouldn't take much effort for it to be OK, but I won't be rushing back in future.

  Grisly Retro Hotel Stay Experience in Paris

  Was booked into the hotel in a travel package with Chan Brothers - 11 Days 8 night Europe in March 2025.This is the worst hotel I have stayed in. 1. Hotel is located in an "unsafe" district in Paris and lacked security feature in the lift when accessing the room. There is "peep hole" in the door nor chain lock to see who is knocking.2. Rooms were tiny and dimly lighted. Badly maintained with wall-floor gaps and wall blisters (water seepage).3. Bath lacked safety wall bounted rails and wall eacks for towels. Toilet hooks were more than 2 metres high and toilet electric socket as well.4. Both the shampoo and bath soap were heavily "perfum-ated" that i felt nausea using it.5. Rooms were tiny for a couple with 2 luggages with furitures poor designed. Hotel tried to be retro but failed miserably.If you are a backpacker, the hotel may just be ok. For family, tourists, i would rate it as -1 Star hotel located in what was listed as an unsafe place to stay in Paris.
