    I purchased a non-refundable room and negative reviews (posted during the horrible heat wave) caused me undue worry. Service was excellent. I received an upgrade as an NH member so I can't comment on the size of the standard room. The facilities were spotless and the location couldn't be more central. Breakfast was varied but a bit disappointing: a Parisian hotel should do better on the baked goods. All in all, good value.

    First, the hotel is not in the best area, but the staff tries to make up for any inconveniences.1. Location-across from Gare de l'est-so lot of traffic and nighttime sirenes going on2. Sleep quality impaired from above3. Staff is responsive and tries to care for the guests4. Housekeeping always available in the hallways and responsive5. Rooms-bigger than some 5 star hotels in the city6. Views-towards the railway station maybe7. Bar-simple, but does the job8. Car parking-none, lucky is you can stop in the "delivery zone" to get unloaded9. Upgrades are difficult to come by, even if you have GHA titanium status; lots of rooms are actually very similar and this hotel gets a lot of foot traffic from very short stays

    We had a nice one night stay at NH Paris Gare De l'Est.The people at the reception were very nice and polite. Also the service at the bar was good.The room was a good size - especially for Paris - and had a good amount of storage space. There was a kettle, a standard courtesy tray and a stocked minibar. They took a deposit for the mini bar which they then refunded. We appreciated the possibility of being able to make our own tea or coffee when we felt like it and also having a properly stocked mini bar.They had a nice big bathroom with a combined bath and shower, which we also liked. The bathroom also had a good amount of storage space.If we were to take an early morning train from Paris Gare De l'Est, this hotel would be our number one choice.

    We had an enjoyable stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well maintained. The location of the hotel was perfect, with easy access to the Metro, making it very convenient for getting around and exploring Paris. A special mention to Antoine on front desk, who was extremely helpful and supportive throughout our stay.Overall a great stay in an excellent location.

    everything was very good. clean room, very friendly staff, good location to access city centre. it must be mentioned while booking that there is daily tax and a hotel guarantee that is not included in booking price.
