    Our place in Paris

No big lobby - just a gem of personal service and fantastic rooms at Avenue de l‘Opéra. Everything is in walking distance. Special.

    Ten Star Gem!

    rating09 Jan 2026

My husband and I absolutely loved the Nolinski. It is a small, beautiful hotel on Avenue de l'Opera in the first and a new area for us to explore in Paris. The first thing that struck us was the professional, but very warm and welcoming staff. Everyone we encountered was amazing and was so helpful and friendly. We arrived early from the USA and they were able to give us a lovely, large room upon arrival-we were expecting to store our bags a wander. Beautiful bathroom, with separate toilet room. Very comfortable bed and excellent bath and bed linens-and a great shower. We were their a week and never felt crowded in the room. Plus, housekeeping did a fantastic job. The room was spotless after they cleaned. Plus we always had some sort of fun treat! Our room was booked by one of their travel partners and breakfast included was one of the perks. Delicious croissants! We normally like to got to a patisserie, but thoroughly enjoyed eating in the hotel! We also enjoyed many cocktails in the bar. The bar is not your typical hotel bar in that it is small and intimate. Great cocktails. But is sometimes closed for private events. It was never too crowded. And we loved the bar tenders. So fun and informative. One night when it was cold and rainy we ended up eating in the bar and had some delicious bar food.We did not use the spa, but we did check it out and it looked and smelled wonderful. Another plus was that there were two generously sized elevators, so no problem with getting in one with all the luggage. I will end with saying again that the rooms were lovely, hotel beautiful, food delicious, great location, but the thing that stood out the most was the excellent staff. The service made the stay perfect!

Great lux/$ and wonderful service but need coffee

    rating30 Dec 2025

We've always stayed at the Park Hyatt Place Vendome but they weren't taking points and Nolinski is half the price. In terms of lux/$, this 5 star hotel is worth the money. Plus the location near the Opera is actually more central for the Louvre, shopping and restaurants. For our family of 4, we got a regular room and a suite and actually prefer the regular room (it had great views and was actually roomier). The art deco interiors are tasteful but best of all the service was top notch. Instead of the usual chocolate, freebies included a herbal sleepaid, collagen powder, and madeleines (how Proustian!). When I needed to buy a suitcase (from all that shopping), they guided me to Monoprix (French Target) and saved me the $ and walk to Galleries Lafayette. The only request I have is a coffee machine or some place to get coffee on demand before 8am, which is the earliest Parisien cafes open.

    A 3 star experience

    rating01 Dec 2025

This hotel like most other 5 star hotel in Paris has lost the meaning of 5 star since a certain group of travelers just show up in Paris and throw lose cash around. It has a Michelin star restaurant with 2 Michelin stars and the food is very good - however the hotel goes to great lengths to present an atmosphere of class and exclusivity yet I found they were letting very poorly dressed guests in- I’m talking dirty sneakers and just disgusting sweaters- like at some point one has to call out the race card. Im sorry I know for fact that if a black person dressed the way that Caucasian girl did, they wouldn’t have been let in. Speaking of race the front desk and visible staff are all White. The maids are all Black… I hate seeing harsh racial bifurcations in 2025. Like I’m sure Black people studied hospitality management too, not just how to clean toilets. Then I asked a staff where to get nice crepes and he literally pointed me to gare Montparnasse. Like I would leave the premier part of Paris to the noisiest dirtiest part for some crepes? Instead of just offering to make it in house and I enjoy it in the comfort of my room- again who are they hiring?? People who clearly don’t know the value of money. The nadir of my stay was seeing the waiter who served me smoke outside in his tuxedo and arguing on the street… like is this the ghetto, why am I paying €€€ for a steak… they apologized and yet the waiter repeated the same behavior two days later. the amenities could be way better for example the conditioners have no labels. I don’t know if I’m putting silicones in my hair… there’s no brand? The body lotion is just lotion- I don’t know if this stuff is filled with mineral oil and paraffin ? Definitely some basic 5 star amenities are lacking here . Then other areas are just like, are you kidding me - they put collagen in everything and I wanted a facial and was met with this LED crap mask that gave me a migraine in 2 minutes. I think they need to learn the meaning of 5 star than charge superfluously.. the rooms are ok, it again there’s no fragrance , no candles, flowers, no 5 star pizaz - just loads of books some of which with unnecessarily naked women. Ugh.

    Not worth the price tag

    rating11 May 2025

Nolinski Paris Spa - I am in town from California visiting my best friend in Paris and we decided to splurge and spend more than we usually do on our favorite facial to experience this renowned luxurious spa that uses myBlend products. I have heard wonderful things about the caliber of this hotel so we assumed the services offered would match. To say we were disappointed would be an understatement of how underwhelmed and shocked we were by the lacking service. This place did not deliver on their own description of The Expert 90 minute facial that we each booked. There was no skin diagnosis or expert advice offered, I learned nothing as a result of this treatment, and waited a few days after in hopes that the promised results needed some time to glow through. None of that happened. Even getting water after our services seemed like a mission, we each asked for water several times and it took almost 15 minutes to come to us (there was no self-serve water). Spare yourself the high price tag and disappointment and go to Caudalie or Biologique Recherche instead - aside from being more affordable, the experience/service is lovely and expert diagnosis and guidance is unparalleled. I was unimpressed and will not be returning to Nolinski for any services, I recommend you do the same.
