Location

This elegantly appointed hotel enjoys a wonderful location on the Seine, just about 700 m from the main tourist area and the Eiffel Tower. There are a number of restaurants, bars and clubs within easy walking distance. Charles Michels metro station and the nearest bus stop are both very close to the hotel building. The nearest station is about 3 km away, while Orly Airport is approximately 15 km away and Charles de Gaulle Airport is around 25 km from the hotel.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 12 suites, 1 single room and 752 double rooms located in two 3-storey buildings with lifts. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Rooms

Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday.     ​Very disappointing stay. I was placed in an adapted room despite availability of standard rooms. Issues included no hot water, a subpar breakfast with very limited choices, and staff who failed to clear tables. I would not recommend."

    The hotel entrance/lobby is lovely, modern and clean but you don’t seem to be able to access the lift to take your luggage up to the reception level so you have to take suitcases on the steep escalator.Feels safe as there are security in the ground floor entrance.Staff were all lovely but definitely is more basic than expected for a four star hotel.Room was dated and the bathroom was in need of some TLC- especially the shower.Sofa bed wasn’t set up when we arrived but after checking with reception we had to set it up. We had 2 pillows for 4 of us so requested some more that took ages to arrive and they only bought 1 so we gave up!Sofa bed wasn’t set up but was horrendously uncomfortable and so noisy so if you’re on the heavier side it would be even worse.Breakfast was ok- got very busy so we aimed to get there for 8.30am.Was great being able to leave our bags on before check in and after check out- luggage staff were lovely. Booked our cab for us for the airport and escorted us down to the taxi which was a lovely touch.Location was pretty good- close to the Eiffel Tower, Alexandra 3rd bridge, across from Trocadero etc we used taxis for our stay which were good but ask before you get in as not all take card…..!!!Overall it was a good base

    Fantastic location for a base on our quick family trip to Paris. Just a short walk from the Eiffel Tower, seconds from the banks of the Seine and with a shopping centre (if that’s your thing) less than five minutes away. We stayed for two nights and across our three full days.The rooms were spacious, the beds super comfy and the staff very friendly. As in some reviews, the carpets were a bit stained in the rooms, but that’s didn’t bother us too much.The bathrooms were also in need or a revamp.All public areas were really nice and modern and there was a small open top pool as well. We were very happy with the hotel.

    Melting in the greenhouse

    Beautiful weather in Paris - 24F today. Our room was west facing and boiling when we arrived. The air conditioning didn’t appear to be working, so I enquired at reception. I was told that the hotel was in “change over” period with no heating or cooling. There was nothing they could do. Our room was like sleeping in a greenhouse- well over 30C in the room. Don’t book this hotel in the spring, if the forecast is for sun!

    The Novotel Centre Eiffel Tower markets itself as a 4-star hotel, but our stay didn’t quite live up to that billing.Starting with the positives: the location is genuinely great, and the check-in experience was a highlight — the staff were warm, welcoming and efficient. Friendly service throughout.Unfortunately, that’s where the good news ends. We had to request a toilet repair twice before it was sorted. The fridge was reported as broken on three separate occasions and was never fixed for the duration of our stay. The room itself was tired and tatty — not what you’d expect from a 4-star property. The sofa bed was a particular low point: incredibly noisy and so uncomfortable it made for a genuinely poor night’s sleep.We didn’t dine at the hotel so can’t comment on the restaurant.A real shame, because the staff deserve better surroundings to work in. With some serious attention to maintenance and room upkeep, this could be a solid choice. As it stands, it’s a stretch to call it 4 stars
