Location

Set in front of the Pont de Neuilly Bridge, the hotel faces the Seine River and is located only 10 min from the Champs-Élysées and Arc de Triomphe (direct and easy access). The lively Opéra or large stores in Haussmann Boulevard are only 20 min away. The metro station Esplanade de La Défense (line 1) is located in front of the hotel entrance. Roissy - Charles de Gaulle and Paris - Orly airports are both 30 km away.

Facility

The hotel welcomes guests in a 14-storey building with a lift and 280 rooms. Guests are warmly welcomed by multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities available at the hotel include a baggage storage service, a safe and a drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The hotel offers a number of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are a number of shops, including a souvenir shop. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park.     the worst hotel I have ever stayed. It was dirty, there was bugs, cockroaches, the breakfast was very very poor and even the glasses and plates weren’t cleaned properly. There were broken tiles. Avoid going there !!!!

    This hotel is absolutely disgusting we saw coakroaches and many other bugs also the windows dont open so when something in the room smells it will stay there for a while even the toilet doesnt lock wich means you have zero privacy

    The hotel is rated on many websites as a 4 Star hotel. The hotel is tied and the rooms are very outdated. The location may be by the Seine and very near to all other f Paris from the metro et al. This should be noted that location does not mean quality and subsequently a medium review from me.

    First night here. Q bed with blanket and second bed without blanket. I want to the reception and they told me there are no blankets available. I could get a sheet. It is very Cold. First and last time that I will come to this hotel.

    Good hotel close to the Metro Station

    The Hotel is very close (less than 5 minutes walk) to La Defense-Esplanade metro station, which is 20 minutes away (by Metro) from Arc de Triomphe, so you can easily go to the city center and come back more than once during your stay.The hotel has a small gym, the receptionist are ok even if one or two of them were happy to leave English speaking guests to their colleagues. Cleaning staff was also kind even if had to call 3 times in 4 days because some of the towels were missing after the room was cleaned.There was not much space for 2 parents and 2 kids in the room, for short stays it is still ok but if we had to stay a couple of days more, that would have been a problem.During our stay we had a problem with the WC, which was solved properly and quickly enough by the staff.I think all rooms or almost all of them have a nice view on the Seine river and the Eiffel Tower.I cannot comment on breakfast because we did not use it.Note on Novotel in France: in other countries you may expect from a 4 stars hotel a Minibar and Shower caps available, for some reason Novotel hotels in France don't have Minibar in the rooms, and shower caps are not in the rooms and are not even available at the reception. Also, the WC is often by itself in small room within your hotel room, and it is not where the bathtub and the sink are.Overall you may feel that the level of the hotel is not a full 4 stars, but if you take into account that you are in Paris at a Metro station 20 minutes from the city center you get a lot for the price.
