    DISAPPOINTED

    rating28 Dec 2025

.My family and I arrived at your hotel late at night with young children, only to be refused accommodation because the booking was made for three guests instead of four. The staff member who attended to us identified herself as the duty manager.Despite the late hour, the presence of young children, and our clear request to stay for just one night and check out the following day, the duty manager flatly refused to allow us to stay under any circumstances. No reasonable flexibility or practical alternative was offered, other than cancelling and refunding the booking. The situation was further aggravated by the duty manager’s conduct. She insisted that she could only understand French, despite the fact that she was able to communicate in English, as later confirmed by another hotel guest. This unnecessary refusal to communicate made an already stressful situation far worse.A fellow hotel guest, who overheard the exchange and was clearly disturbed by the manner in which we were being treated, attempted to assist by translating our situation into French. Rather than responding professionally, the duty manager raised her voice at this guest, who was only trying to help. Such behavior toward both guests and bystanders is entirely unacceptable and reflects a serious lack of professionalism. While I acknowledge that hotels must enforce occupancy policies, policies should never be applied in a manner that disregards basic human decency—especially when families with young children are involved, and when the situation occurs late at night with no immediate alternatives.Being turned away under these circumstances caused significant distress, inconvenience, and embarrassment to my family. This experience falls well below the standard of hospitality and customer service that any reputable hotel should uphold.I expect this incident to be formally reviewed and for appropriate action to be taken. I would also appreciate a clear explanation of how such conduct aligns with your hotel’s service standards.

    Great stay

    rating01 Nov 2025

I was really pleased with this hotel; immaculately presented. Room was nice and very clean with everything you’d need. The roof top bar was excellent (great views and atmosphere) and we had an evening meal in the restaurant one night which was excellent. We had friendly service. Plenty of amenities in the local area and although not short, it is walking distance to attractions. Hotel is very family friendly. I would definitely recommend.

Disappointing Experience at Novotel Vaugirard Paris

    rating21 Oct 2025

My experience was extremely frustrating. I left a blouse and a belt in my room, and despite contacting them several times by email, the most I received in response was a simple "we're sorry."I find it unacceptable that a hotel of this size doesn't have stricter control over guests' forgotten belongings, especially considering that the housekeeping staff is the first to access the room after check-out.There was a lack of responsibility, empathy, and any real attempt to resolve the situation. A huge disappointment with the Novotel chain.

Perfect stay! The hotel is beautiful and the service was outstanding. A special thanks to Slim, the bar waiter, and Joe at the reception – they were absolutely lovely and made our stay even more enjoyable!

Comfortable , well equipped rooms and good service

    rating08 Sept 2025

My wife asked for a quiet room and that is exactly what we got . The room was well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. The entry to the car park is a bit nerve wracking - pay attention to the height limit! The breakfast is a bit steep at 20€ but it is copious with lots of choice. We also visited the rooftop bar for a cocktail and watch the Tour Eiffel sparkle in the evening -80€ for 5 cocktails ? Expensive but worth it for the view and excellent service.Overall for B&B for 3 and parking 400€. Expensive but it suited our needs for this trip.
