Location

The hotel is located close to the Porte de Saint-Ouen and the Porte de Clichy, next to the famous Montmartre Cemetery and close to the Montmartre district. Square des Batignolles is some 600 m and the Moulin Rouge is just 1 km away from the establishment. Various restaurants, bars and nightspots are about a 10-minute walk away while shopping venues, the Sacré-Cœur and the Champs-Élysées are approximately 2 km from the accommodation.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 32 non-smoking rooms. The reception desk is open round the clock. A baggage storage service, a safe, an alarm call service, a laundry service, a conference room, a business centre and a smoke alarm are available. Wireless internet access (for a fee) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. There are a number of shops as well. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park.     AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS – our MONEY WAS STOLEN by the staff.During our stay, EUR 200 was stolen directly from our wallets in the room. After check-in, our wallets remained in the room until check-out, so there is no doubt the theft happened inside the hotel.What makes this worse is the hotel’s complete lack of responsibility. Instead of addressing the theft, apologizing, or processing a refund, the administration ignored our messages. Guests should feel safe in their rooms — here, you risk being robbed by the very people employed to serve you.This is an unacceptable and untrustworthy place to stay. If you value your money, safety, and peace of mind - DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. Mgmt HR, Propriétaire at Hotel Paris Legendre, responded to this review Hi,Your comment is defamatory and totally unacceptable.Indeed, after checking, it appears that your room key was only activated once by our chambermaid. Her integrity is well established and we have complete confidence in her.Furthermore, all our rooms are equipped with a safe, so it is strange that you did not use yours.We advised you to file a complaint, but you refused.Finally, although you do not mention this in your comment, you realised your money was missing when you arrived at the airport. It is therefore unacceptable to make such accusations against our team, when your money could very well have been stolen by a pickpocket during your transfer.Of course, we reserve the right to take action to defend the integrity of our team, given the misleading nature of your writings.The Management

    A bar nearby is extremely noisy throught the night

    The room facing the street was extremely noisy almost all night long, at least for Saturday, the day we stayed. It was due to a pizza place/bar next door and we were on the sixth floor. We thought that people might finished their very late dinner, the store might close around midnight, and it would be quiet, but No No No!! It became a bar! They turned up music speaker or something. People talked and sang even louder!! Of course they also smoked a lot and some smoke came up for us to smell.Unfortunately it was quite hot in Paris now. There was no A/C in this room so closing the window was not a feasible option. Terrible night! I couldn't believe that all these residents around this street could stand up such noise in this residential street. Just one restaurant/bar could do such demage!The corridor was under some kind of repainting with masking tapes and floor cover everywhere and a bit of smells. I was surprise that they could sell rooms this way!This hotel is located in an alley closed to metro, bus, and Montmartre. The room and bathroom are small, yet quite clean. There is not much space to put bags and luggages. With elevator.     Lovely little hotel that has clearly had a make over for the rooms. modern yet simple with comfortable bed and fine bathroom (no amenities - shower cap etc) and no fridge. Staff very nice and more than helpful.Great location to metro - 5mins walk. Shops/restaurants/take aways 3 mins walk. bars down the road and 15 mins walk to livelier spots in Montmartre. 40mins in taxi to Orly airportwill be back if they keep the price right!     Correct breakfast, nice and clean room, however there were some stains on the curtain and on the wall. Apart form that room was clean, TV, wifi worked well. Friendly and helpful staff who speak english.

    Employee walked in to the room in the middle of the night

    During our first night at the hotel we had a very unpleasant experience when one of the employees walked right in to our room at 02:30 in the middle of the night. We woke up with quite a chock, and without knowing who it was or why it happened we where unable to fall asleep again for that night. We decided to not stay any longer at the hotel and were requesting a full refund of the total payment. The receptionist felt for us and wanted to give us the full refund but he told us his boss didn’t allow a full refund. We are still trying to get our refund from this hotel.
