Location

Located in quiet side street, near the Champs-Élysées, Madeleine and the Arc de Triomphe, this city hotel enjoys a splendid location, just minutes from the nearest Metro station. The surrounding neighbourhood offers numerous shopping opportunities, restaurants, barsand Saint-Lazare train station is just around the corner. Further famous sightseeing attracitions, such as the Louvre, Notre Dame, Montmartre or the Eiffel Tower are less than 2 km away.

Facility

The hostel was built in 1900. 19 non-smoking rooms, including 4 single rooms and 13 double rooms, are located on 4 storeys and can be reached by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. The hostel provides a baggage storage service, a safe, a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, room service, a laundry service and a fax machine. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Parking spaces are available to guests travelling by car. Other services include a hotel shuttle bus. Complimentary newspapers are available.

Rooms

Central heating ensures that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests are sure to get a good night's sleep in the double bed. Extra beds can be requested.     The staff were pleasant but we were given a 4th floor room which was very small and had a cupboard, supposedly the ensuite, which had a shower and toilet and wash basin squashed in. The toilet was so near the shower that there was no room to put a shower mat on the floor but, worse, the front of the toilet was inches from the door such that it was difficult to stand away from the toilet with the door closed. There was no tea or coffee making facilities which would have been welcome after being out most of the day and as there were 90 stairs to climb and a tiny lift which would only take one person. Although the hotel was in a good location and the room was relatively clean the stay was spoiled by the size of the room and it's lack of decent bathroom. I would not recommend it.

    We spent three nights here. The hotel is in a good location. The room was clean but the bathroom was small. The reception is open 24 hours a day. The breakfast and wifi were good. Good value for money. The staff was nice. Overall we were satisfied! Thank you!

    Arrived outside looked great then massive disappointment nothing looked clean and the bedroom was a shambles with the ensuite. My wife and I just looked at each other and she wept it was disgusting, I have stayed in a lot of accommodation in every country in Europe to Brazil to new Zealand and this is definitely the worst

    I got a tiny standard room on se end floor. Liked my room and place, however it was such a small room. I felt good for the room btw. The temperature at night was somewhat low and chilly. Clean and nice bathroom. The breakfast was good and also staff. The hotel has compact spaces.

    The hotel is looking tired, painted very dark which shows all the knocked and scuffed paintwork.The rooms are very small and the lift is tiny.The staff are excellent, helpful and informative.It is in a very good position which allows easy sightseeing.Breakfast is good and pmentyful.
