    This hotel has no qualms to check guests into a room with a bathroom door that cannot be closed proper. Because the door cannot be closed fully and leaves a gap, a ray of morning sun enters the room on my side of bed when the sun rises in the morning.Seriously, how long does it take to replace a door handle?Paint was also chipping off the wall and ceiling at the bathroom window and falling onto the floor below it every day.And obviously, these are not just oversights or new issues. It was a rushed and last minute booking so I had missed out on reviews online about these issues. This plainly shows how much the hotel cares!I give it 0/5 but the minimum here is 1/5, so...What would you make of this - my above post at Google Review was REMOVED! And when I re-posted a 2nd time after I discovered, it was REMOVED yet again! Ho ho...And the hotel responded to Vio whom I booked the room with and feedback-ed to with: hotel: ‘While we take all reviews seriously, past comments do not allow us to identify the specific guest, room or the exact issue at the time of the stay.'my response: the hotel is saying it had not 'MANAGED’ to spot these issues for MONTHS from the time they were encountered by guests before me, till my feedback in late January. my stay was late dec and i feedbacked to Vio in late January. Or, are these issues just so rampant at the hotel such that they are ‘just another day at Pavilion Opera Grand Boulevards’ and no one sees any need to do anything about them as the hotel is rotting anyways? :)hotel: ‘These matters had not been reported previously for this room or identified during our inspections. Once they were brought to our attention, they were addressed promptly.’my response: the hotel is confirming it failed to identify these issues EVEN during its routine room INSPECTIONS for nearly 1 good month! That it only promptly rectified the issues, alas, nearly 1 month after my stay, when it received my feedback from Vio.For clarity, I stayed at the hotel in late Dec, checked out 31 dec. . I feedback to Vio only in late January. :)I am just giving my plain honest feedback.with love …

    We've had an amazing time, upgrade would be fantastic but we have not travelled to stay in the hotel. The beds are so comfortable best ive ever stayed in. Staff are all fantastic but we must give an extra special thank you to Fernando

    Really good location, easy to navigate and 15 min walk from Gare du Nord (train station that we got off at from the airport). Reception staff are lovely. Room was small but was exactly what we wanted as it was just somewhere to sleep. No AC which meant the room was really warm, I found it difficult to sleep the first night due to this. A fan was provided but seemed to just blow hot air. We booked breakfast which was incredibly basic and confusing. It's a help yourself sort of layout which I had never experienced before and we weren't told this and when we were looking for food, no one helped us even though it's right in the middle of the reception area. The fridge was hidden as was the crockery. We said we'd maybe stay here again given it was a cooler season but we would not opt for the breakfast. Also the shower was not attached to the wall so it was difficult to actually wash yourself properly.     Hot room!!!! No A/C!!!!

    There is no A/C in the entire hotel.The room is very hot.Staying in this hotel during the hot summer is inconvenient.If you pop a window open, there is too much noise outside. Please read the amenities in their website before booking to avoid inconvenience.     This is a wonderful budget friendly hotel! Across from the Follies Bergère and near ‘Japan town’ so many Ramen restaurants! Also in the center of many, many covered passages. Walking distance to the Palais Garnier and the famous shopping stores. There is a convenience store a block away! For families…the triple rooms have a pull out couch and you would feel safe ducking across the street to grab a drink at the cafe after putting them to bed, if your children are older. The staff was wonderful and so accommodating! Just wonderful. I would stay again!
