    Next time better nope

To be fair, it had some perks. One of then was cleanliness. Despite everything, the room was kept clean and it was visible tht it was removated recently, though it was a very low budget renovation. The other perk is staff, they were all very nice and did their job well.On the other hand, the rooms were small, which would be bearable, if the equipment was sufficient. There was absolutely NO cabinet, just some construction that looked like a akeleton of a cabinet. No door, no side, so we had to keep the clothes there, even the undervear, where the cleaning person could see it.The beds were horrific. 10 cm smaller than usual, with spring mattress, and mine was kinda reclined to one site, due to which I almost fell off couple of times. Bathroom was microscopic, the WC almost under the wash-basin, facing the wall so you could barely sit there. If you got street view, you got a kinda nice view, but there's lot of noise during the night, so I needed earplugs, which are uncomfortable to wear. Though it was in a nice, clean area.Food was very, very poor. Especially since this was France, I really expected something else. It was supposed to be buffet breakfast, but there was absolutely no choice. It was more like in school cafeteria. Some baked pastry, which was kinda good, but most of it was sweet. There was a yogurt, but it had awful artificial taste. Same with cheeses. Marmelade in the small plastic basket wasn't bad, but neither it was good. Propably the best thing was apple puree, quite tasty. Then orange juice, water, coffee and tea. And that, my friends, is all. No fruits or vegetables. No eggs. I personall, didn't miss meat, but I guess some of you would.

    Not really worth the price

Now, I know that whenever you complain about a room in Paris people will always reply "It's Paris, all rooms are small/dark/whatever" but I cant really find any excuses for this hotel. Let's start from the positives. It's in a good position, you can reach Montmartre with a brief walk, there are restaurants and bistrots nearby and the bed was ok.The rest? A failure. Small room, not particularly clean and an appalling bathroom. Let's just say that if you're an adult you have to be a contortionist in order to use it. I could accept conditions like this if I were paying 30 euros for a hostel, but since I almost paid 110 euros for one night I was expecting way more. Last complaint: I arrived at the hotel and I was told by the reception clerk that there wasnt the possibility to pay by card because the machine was broken, so i was sent to a nearby ATM to get cash. Too bad that it was out of order and I needed to go look for another one. Good thing I looked into my jacket pockets and suitcase and managed to scramble just enough cash to pay for the hotel. If I could give any advice, let the guest into the room where he can get a breather or use the bathroom and have him pay a bit later.

The only thing good is the Location

    rating30 Aug 2022

We stayed for 4 days as sadly everywhere else was fully booked, this hotel was way too expensive for what it has to offer. If you're a young unexperienced traveler and really don't mind about uncomfort and can pay a fortune for just accommodation, this is the hotel for you. No food facilities are offered on this hotel. I'd give a one star based on my experience.I have to say the the only advantage of this hotel is the great location proximity to everything, 3 min walk to metro station and Sacre Croeur, 10 min walk to Moulin Rouge and Gare du Nord train station, and lots of restaurants and bars around the area makes it lively at night. But the attribute is to the area around and not the hotel itself. A mini supermarket is at 2 min walking distance too cheaper than the convenience shop next doorExtremely expensive stay for a 2.5* when it hostels are cleaner and comfier than this. The full hotel feels like its been build on a slope and all floors are uneven, Bathrooms are shockingly small, not even big enough to sit down in the toilet without getting your face stuck on the sink, theres a picture already posted by another traveler of the bathroom when you can see Shower, sink and toilet build between a very limited space. You can see the wall pipes behind toilet and showers are full of mould. Door on toilet didn't close properly either, i had to go to the disgusting toilet on the public area located on a small shed on the patio area as it was bigger the the one in the roomFree internet service was non existent on whatever extensions and level they have in the hotel. One day the electricity when for half a day so all our gadgets where uncharged for the day, also shower and bathroom light didn't work until this was fixed in the afternoon. We went on beginning of June so it was hot and the rooms have no air con or fan, you have to sleep with open windows and hearing the noise from outside screams and bars all night. Bed and pillows are quite uncomfortable, plus most doors have a fitted self shutter mechanism so they close with a BANG that can be heard in all the hotel, so it's a constant door banging all day and night. The full hotel needs updating to this century, it might have been OK on the 50's and 60's but you can get more from a F1 or Ibis Hotel for that price.

    Single trip to Paris

Worst stay ever, do not go here if you are traveling alone. You get a small room with a tiny bad (around 3 m2). The hotel is in a poor state. It can't be a 3 star hotel. 2 star is by fare the correct state.

Filthy, in a state of disrepair and unprofessionally run

    rating16 Aug 2022

I don't think I have ever had such a poor experience of a place that classified itself as a 3 star hotel. The place was in a terrible state of disrepair throughout the whole hotel and was filthy throughout. The rooms were small and had plenty of things wrong with them. In our room, the shower came off the wall, the shower curtain rail had broken, the toilet flusher was faulty, plus plenty more. The bathroom was too small to even sit on the toilet. There was no air circulation at all. However, the worst thing in the hotel was the unprofessional way in which it was run. On our final day we asked to leave our luggage in a side room that they had designated. When we returned later in the day, our luggage was not in the room but at the front of the reception and with easy reach of anyone to ta take it. We were furious but had no apology. Two staff were exempting themselves from blame. This is appalling! Don't stay here!
