  We have been completely ripped off! we have paid during the payment process for two guest and they sent us the confirmation only for one guest. We clearly showed evidences a month before that we made those picture during the payment process as we saw few bad reviews and we have been suspicious about this Hotel. We paid the amount due and they ignored us without responding to Booking.com and from our emails. We requested a month before a free cancellation due to this no communication and situation but they ignored us and also they ignored booking customer service.The male receptionist despite we sent and spoke by phone with the manager charged us extra money for the second guest, (when we arrived and the receptionist saw us at the door he took the calculator immediately making the new price because he was prepared to do this from the management) in rudely manner. After we paid an extra fee a soon we got upstairs we noticed that the room was wrong with two single bed and not bath as prioritise in the booking request. I showed them once again the picture of the room we booked and choose during the payment process but nothing they didn`t listen and they didn`t care answering rudely. The drainage of the shower was blocked we could not have a shower. It was also dirty with hair all over the walls. Both Duvet covers and linen was broken with spots and dirtiness. Fire alarms was consistently on for three night consecutively on off on off. They state that the room are soundproofing but is another lie you could ear everting it was impossible to sleep for all nights. If we could have the opportunity to cancel this booking a month before we definitely did but because they state NO FREE CANCELLATION they did not answer at all from one month in advance We understood that this is a clear fraudulent system. We are very upset about this and also very upset with Booking.com as we have completely and clearly ripped off with no help from anyone.

  Pro: great location, very central, easy to get to Paris CDG airport, metro/train station are metres awayPro: English speaking staff, pretty helpful, 24h receptionPro: the BEST bakery in the universe is 2 doors down!Pro: private,albeit, ugly bathroom!Cons: Blankets were shamefully visibly stained/curtains, ghastly, grubby, from the 70s!/carpet filthy (thank God I took my slippers!) Cons: noisy neighbourhood! Cons: for some weird reason you have to ask reception for the WiFi code & I was with my sister & only one of us could use it at a time....weird!In a nutshell, if you want a S.S.S hotel (sh*t, shower & sleep) then it's ok. I wouldn't stay there again as I had to spend as little time as I possibly could outside of my room. Difficult to really relax on dirty bedding!

  Great location however won’t return ever. Booked for proximity to Gare du Nord. No AC and service. iPhone missing.

  I had booked and paid in advance for the “best room” 76 which had no AC so be prepared for noise when windows are open during hot months. The sink was clogged up and there was no extra loo rolls.Free wifi only allowed for one device at a time. My iPhone is missing. The last boss is unaware she has dishonest and knowing staff.Also I was charged for luggage storage for 2 nights prior to arrival despite . They are the only hotel who do not respond back to emails.Lastly, they switched the airport shuttle time at the last minute so I had to book a taxi directly on the morning of my departure. I am quite sure the receptionist arranged a kickback for that.

  Perfect for 1 night

  Great location, right across from the station. Rooms are small and basic, so not great for more than 1 night. Very close to cafes and restaurants, so noisy at night. We walked to Montmarte and then also to Notre Dame. It’s a budget hotel, and that is what you get, but close to everything.There is a lift!!!

  Bad weekend stay at Picardy Hotel Paris

  We booked a twin room but got a double, changed but they forgot to tell us the toilet didn't flush. We complained and were told no fixing was available. Following day housekeeping were extremely rude when asking for a clean towel! Wouldn't stay again!
