    Nice hotel with Hollywood theme.

    rating22 Feb 2026

Excellent welcome from reception staff and they were very friendly and helpful throughout. The room was small, typical in Paris, but very clean with interesting decor. The coffee from the machine in the room was ok, but you only get 4 complementary hot drinks throughout your stay. After that you pay €2 per pod. All other drinks and snacks in the room cost extra. Very handy for Charles Michel metro station and the RER C train. Good local cafes and a Monopirx very nearby. WiFi was patchy. Scammers

    rating20 Apr 2025

Never again! All good, until we checked out.We had a flight at midday, and the deposit refund had to be processed after the room check in the afternoon, for which we couldn't wait. Then we received an email from Kassandra, that one plaid is missing and the deposit cannot be refunded.Me and my wife didn't take anything from the room, and this cheap scam from this business could have been avoided. Mgmt HR, Propriétaire at Platine Hotel, responded to this review Dear Lorenzo, Thank you for sharing this review which retained all our attention. First of all, it is a real pleasure to hear that you enjoyed the quality of the service provided throughout your stay at our 4-star boutique hotel. However, we regret the inconvenience encountered with the release of your deposit.Indeed, the bed runner in your room disappeared after you left. This was probably a misunderstanding and we apologize if our discussions led you to believe that we doubted your good faith. In any case, your deposit has been released and should appear in your bank account shortly.Regards, The Management

    Very unhappy

    rating07 Mar 2025

Not happy as hotel is inflexible and unhelpful. Needed to cancel or postpone trip as all Eurostar trains have been cancelled due to the discovery of an unexploded World War I I bomb found near Paris!!Called the hotel to explain and to rebook but they showed no understanding and were very unhelpful. Mgmt HR, Propriétaire at Platine Hotel, responded to this review Dear Guest, Your review retained all our attention and we regret the inconvenience encountered. Indeed, you have opted for a non-refundable and non-cancellable booking in return for a preferential rate. In this case, it is not possible for us to go back on your booking. However, we did offer you the option of postponing your arrival, as you had booked several nights in our 4-star boutique hotel, but you did not wish to take advantage of this. Hoping that we will have the opportunity to welcome you on a future visit to Paris, Regards, The Management

    Great location, terrible hotel

    rating02 Jun 2024

Let’s start with the positives. I go to Roland Garros every year and this is an excellent location. You can walk to the grounds in 40 minutes and the hotel is accessible to metro and the rest of Paris. I’m a big fan of this area.I had high hopes for this hotel but was sadly disappointed. First, let’s talk about the size of the room (see the picture). It’s perfectly fine for a single traveler but I cannot imagine sharing this room. There would literally be no way to walk around the room if you have luggage. And also notice the glass door to the bathroom. Unless you and your traveling companion are so intimate that you need no privacy you’re ok, but if this makes you as squeamish as me, look elsewhere. The hotel is very very crowded all of the time. There were massive crowds in the lobby at all hours. Waiting for an elevator at any time took at least five minutes. I didn’t mind hiking up five levels using stairs but you may not want to do this. The hotel encouraged guests not to use housekeeping and even gave you a little sign to put on the door saying that a tree would be planted for each time you declined the service. Lovely idea, but may I suggest an upgrade on the towels. They are so thin that they are not even fit for a hostel, which required more housekeeping than I would normally request so I didn’t have to use a wet towel. The housekeeping is not great either. The toilet broke during my stay. I went downstairs late at night to tell the front desk, but nobody was there to help. I just had to go down to the basement each time I wanted to use the bathroom which is was easier than getting the attention of the front desk. Housekeeping didn’t fix the issue either. Housekeeping also didn’t refill the soap and shampoo bottles in the room. After proceeding to the front desk late at night to ask for more shampoo and body wash (and again not getting any help) I went across the street to monoprix to buy my own.A few more tidbits:- The one piece of exercise equipment in the very small gym (a treadmill) didn’t work. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you want a working gym.- My key card stopped working twice during my visit (necessitating more visits to the front desk to get it fixed).- After six nights at this hotel, the night manager stopped me as I came back my final night, grilling me about the details of my reservation. Although I appreciate the extra security measures, perhaps focusing on defective toilets, broken key cards, and lack of cleaning supplies in the rooms would be a better use of time 🤷‍♂️Anyway, this place was certainly interesting but for the same price I recommend the Novotel or Mercure in the same area. Mgmt HR, Propriétaire at Platine Hotel, responded to this review Dear Ellis, Thank you for taking the time to share this detailed review, here and on Google. We sincerely regret to hear that this stay at our 4-star boutique hotel did not comply with your expectations. First of all, you should know that we allocate our rooms according to the number of guests, and that the room you stayed in had all the comforts you need for a solo stay. We have several categories of rooms, some of which have bathrooms with an opaque door. We could have offered you another room if you had asked during your visit. Our hotel is currently very busy and fully booked. We are in high season and Paris is a very attractive city. Rest assured, however, that our establishment is designed for this capacity. You have also informed us of a problem with the toilet in your room. Our team is surprised. In fact, you did not ask them to do anything during your stay. In addition, our rooms are regularly checked and every incident is recorded in a special report. As for your comment about the equipment in our gym, it turns out to be in perfect working order. In fact, our receptionist Alain tried twice to explain to you how the treadmill worked. However, you did not respond to his requests. Our treadmill has a key-operated security system. All you have to do is turn it on, as our receptionist told you verbally. The shower gel and shampoo are packaged in a single-use eco-pump, for the sake of ecology and the environment. We're sorry to hear that you've run out. However, our team makes sure that each of our guests has a sufficient quantity, bearing in mind that we also have a stock on hand in case of need. We are surprised to learn that our receptionist did not respond to your request if you solicited him.We are also surpised that your deplore our night security control process implemented to increase our guest safety. The front desk agent has to ask identification, to guests not familiar to him, before entrance. Nevertheless, most of our guests approve our vigilance. Finally, we apologize for any inconvenience caused by the issue with the magnetic card of your room. Sometimes, it may need to be restored if unmagnetised. We are sorry that you did not fully enjoyed the service provided during your stay. We will try to convince you that Platine Hotel can match to your expectations if you give us another chance to visit us.Best regards, The Management

Hidden Gem - Would def stay again!

    rating24 Apr 2024

Booked this for a long weekend break with my fiance, we were not sure what the area would be like as had not heard much about this part of Paris but we could not have been happier at this find. Its next to several key metro stations and as you depart the hotel and turn left onto the street you are treated to a view of the Eifel Tower which is a mere 15 min walk away. The hotel staff were super friendly and welcoming and the hotel is spotless. The rooms are not massive but that wasnt the main reason for us vising Paris, the room and bathroom were spotless and one of best showers in terms of pressure we have experienced. The hotel has a sauna and steamroom which we used twice and were excellent. We also used the game room late one evening with a couple of drinks from the honesty bar - and given we maybe drank a wee bit too much that night we took 3 items from the mini bar in our room but for 2 redbull's, a water and a full bottle of red wine we were 28 euros to pay which I thought was really reasonable.Lots of bars and restaurants nearby that we visited for drinks in the evening once our sightseeing was done.We didnt have breakfast here as wanted to enjoy as many boulangeries as we could out and about during our time but it did smell incredible!Taxi to and from was set price from CDG at 65 euros - hotel had our taxi booked for us at 3pm on our last day and kept the luggage for us no problem after check out so we could do more sight seeing. The price for our stay was very reasonable and we will def be staying here again - quality of sleep was excellent as no noise from the street at all and bed was super comfy - I highly recommend this place if you are visiting Paris for a long weekend and fancy trying a new area thats not in the more well known ones.
