Do not go to this hotel

    rating18 Sept 2018

Room smelt of cigarettes and urine, wndow-box full of cigarette ends, heavily stained mattresses, poor security, stained carpets everywhere. People loitering in the corridors. I felt unsafe. The local restaurant told me there were a lot of break-ins to the hotel, there was no safe deposit box, the lock on the door was flimsy and the door to the street was left open at times.

    Disgrace

This place shouldn’t be called a hotel, it was filthy, I had a bad vibe the minute I walked into the room, then from around 8.30pm police were banging on doors, the rooms next to me were being run as a brothel all through the nightWith men coming and going and then a woman knocking the girls door after each man left. I didn’t stay my second night and didn’t sleep the first night. It was a pretty scary place.

    Do not book this hotel

    rating26 Aug 2017

Booked two rooms at this hotel, double and triple. On arrival, notice on window advising to check in across the way at sister hotel Auriane Porte de Versailles. When we get there we find that we are staying there and not at the hotel that we booked. We were also under the impression that we got wifi as advertised on Booking.com however on arrival, you had to pay for it! The rooms advertised also were definitely not the rooms that we got.The triple room was the cleanest of them however it consisted of two single beds in one room and another just placed in another 'room' that was not bigger than a cupboard. This room smelled and felt cleaner than the double room. The double room smelled of damp, had stained carpets, there was dust in every corner, on top of the skirting boards. The bathroom was horrific; the ceiling looked like it was going to cave in at any time, the shower head looked like it had never been cleaned and around the water dispensers, had dried on water/fungi whatever, absolutely disgusting. We were on the third floor overlooking the street, could hear music from the pub at all hours and the smell of smoke continuously wafting up from the street at the bottom was disgusting. 30 degrees and no air conditioning, just a fan that was also caked in dust and never been cleaned. The pictures that advertise this hotel are misrepresenting and false advertisement. The hotel is dingy, old, stained and in desperate need of a deep clean and remodernisation - avoid at all costs!!!!

    DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL

    rating01 Feb 2017

When we arrived at the Hotel we had to go across the other side of the road to check in. Four guys in puffer jackets who were ok but it may be intimidating for a single person. We was told we would have to pay for Wifi but the hotel then agreed to give us it for. Upon entering the room you could smell a musty smell. The door was unlocked In the corner you had mould in the corner. The wall had a hole in it which appeared to be from the door handle. The toilet had not been cleaned or somebody had been in after cleaning. The carpet had stains on and the windows looked less then secure. My colleague and I after looking at each others rooms decided to move hotel. The four people on the front desk couldn't do anything as there was "Night Porters" but agreed after I had shown the pictures that it was unacceptable. Spoke to booking.com who said they would sort it as it was 20-30 and we had been travelling most of the day. After numerous phones calls and pictures being sent to Booking.com and the Hotel - the hotel refused to refund any of the money and said I had photo-shopped the pictures. I couldn't do that as I had no power in my room to charge my phone up. Even though the picture of the Hotel is wrong on Booking.com of the hotel I have been refunded £20. My colleague has never heard anything. If I had stopped at the hotel I don't think I would have slept for the two days I was stopping. Before leaving the hotel we saw other people checking out so my advice is DO NOT BOOK and stick to a chain like the ibis
