  Interesting area for window shopping and strolling around. Nice independent galleries, interesting shops and good cafes. Spent a morning whilst in Paris just wandering these streets. One of the highlights of the trip!!

  Lame!!! No show by the owner!

  We were only in Paris for one night and this no show messed us up so badly! Because of the stupid owner not showing, we missed out on our night trip to the Eiffel Tower and we spent all night long trying to find another room on that side of Paris but everyone was sold out and after standing in the streets with all of our luggage for two hours we finally got checked in to another hotel at about 12:30 AM, I was so upset! And trip adviser and orbitz both tried calling the stupid apartment owner but nobody could get a hold of them! So lame! I was foolish for not checking the other reviews before I booked, and now I read that many other people had the same experience so I hope trip advisor and orbits takes this apartment off their lists!

  Waited half an hour in the street for the person in charge to appear and open the apartment. Great location walking distance to notre dame and metro station. Convenient crepperies and restaurants in the same street. Comfortable space with all basic things in kitchen. No soap nor toilet paper provided.Good wifi until our last day in which it stopped working, same as the hot water. Tried to communicate with person in charge but never answered the phone. Need improvement in that area such as giving a working email or phone number to reach in case of need.

  The location was great but the experience was extremely disappointing and bad. I had advised them that I would be arriving late from Prague. I had no communication apart from confirmation from Venere.com 4 days prior to the check in date confirming the booking and that no further action was required.When my wife and I arrived, there was no one there and no contact details. I rang Venere's number (several times) only to get an answer machine. I sent a text to the number in the email.Eventually, I received a text advising that the booking had been cancelled as I had not responded. There was no email or emails advising me to contact anyone or details of whom I should contact.After several texts, arrangements were made for us to stay in a hotel near Luxemburg in a very small room at our expense. We were told to meet at the apartment the following day at 12 pm. We were met at the apartment late by a fellow named Rida. We had to lug our luggage up a flight of stairs before being able to access a lift.The apartment was dirty, sheets were not changed, hair was on the bed - disgusting! Rida started to clean the toilet and provided us with clean pillow slips when we requested them, no clean sheets. The place obviously needed vacuuming and cleaning.Rida demanded payment in cash and I had to look for an ATM. We inquired about check out time and luggage storage. He wanted to charge 40 Euros for storage.We inquired about the washing machine in the apartment - which he said was not working.When we were first shown the apartment, there was a lot of cash on the table and 2 girls were leaving. The apartments looked tired with poor amenities. The beds are extremely tired and old with large sags in them. We felt uncomfortable with the whole process. Our interactions with the owner (via sms) and Rida were poor. A terrible experience and I would not recommend the apartments to anyone. We decided to leave and checked into a hotel close by where the experience was wonderful. and the staff were very helpful.Frankly it was a bright place with a balcony but a dump overall as all the amenities were tired and old in need of a good clean and or replacement.

  I was hesitant because of some of the reviews, I will start telling you some of them do not even belong to this apartment. Remember you are not paying to go check in at Le Crillon. It is a very comfortable reasonably priced in the center of it all. you must be specific on the time to check in as some one has to come and meet you. Do not worry about re-conforming the owner a very nice elegant Madamme will contact you just few days before you check in and give you details Travelers checks and Euros are accepted in full at check in. The apartment is located bet the 5th and 6th floor of a small elevator building with steps to the first floor, (1st fl in Europe is 2nd in USA) in the heart of the Latin Quarter just two minutes to RER at Saint Michell, a supermarket on the ground floor, fully equipped kitchenette, strong water pressure in the nice small bathroom, very comfortable bed and sofa-bed. International cuisine restaurant choices just accross or around the corner. An affordable comfortable option in the center of Paris.
