    Wonderful memories aren’t made here

    rating26 Mar 2026

NOT a place for apprehensive travelers! You get what you pay for and in Paris that’s $88/nt for a private bathroom. You can spend far less for a hostel or capsule and I wish I had. I would have felt safer sleeping with strangers than in a room with a broken window hinge and a stained, warped floor in the shape of a horrible crime. Truthfully, I should not have expected more from my $88 in one of the world’s most expensive cities. Expecting moderate level accommodations at bottom dollar prices is foolish. On the bright side, the staff restarted routers when the WiFi was down and locked the insecure window closed. If you choose this hotel, go in with the right mindset: it’s a cheap place to sleep and it has a private bathroom (which is a luxury, even if it isn’t divine), Sacre Couer is nearby and the Anvers Metro station is steps away - use it.

Don’t ever ever ever go here

    rating08 Jun 2025

I would never recommend this hotel to anyone, especially not someone traveling solo. The location of the hotel is great it’s very central to all the metro lines, and lots of shops and food places. The staff were approachable and friendly and I had no issues with them. When I went into the hotel I was given a broken door key which had been cellotaped together from that I should have known it was going to be bad. I was on the 3rd floor, and thankfully the lift was working, the room was the smallest I’ve seen in my life, I’m glad I was solo as thinking of sharing that space with someone else would kill me, if anyone has seen the film taken that’s what I thought of instantly the room was run down out of date, the bed sheets smelt funny, the decorative pillows covered in dust, and the wardrobe door hanging on by a thread.. that’s before addressing the mattress that is as like a rock. The bed kept breaking and the leg kept falling off the which I repeatedly had to fix🤣.. the tv has no English channels which is fair enough but would be nice for the radio at least we on the remote it’s got channels for YouTube, Netflix etc but it’s not the remote for the correct tv🤣.. thankfully the room had a fridge which was good to keep some drinks cold. The shower doors were hanging on for dear life and wouldn’t close properly the shower took easily 8-10 mins to heat up before getting into it also. There is no air con or anything in the room and it was boiling!! But you do have a window, and if you see the amazing view I had (not) then I was hesitant about keeping the window open there was a woman straight a head of me which kept smoking out of her window which kept blowing into my room which wasn’t nice.. I felt generally unsafe in this hotel there was people shouting out the rooms all night, I felt someone was going yo come into my room and while I was sleeeping it was awful I couldn’t even recommend this place to someone looking for something cheap as it’s just not nice! Shame as the staff and location is lovely just the overall decor ruins it!

    Great location

The hotel is in a great location, but is busy and you will hear some street noise. The twin room was small but the bathroom big! Clean, and comfortable beds. I was disappointed that they provided a kettle and cups, a plate and knife and fork. But no tea or coffee, or a spoon. Staff were very helpful!

Makes Faulty Towers look good. When arrived couldn’t find room staff not interested, place ver tired. Most of group had room problems with 2 having to move after 1st night. Lift broke and take at least 24 hrs to mend, what fun on 4th floor. Only good bit got room at back which was quiet

Please think twice before staying here!!

    rating27 Mar 2024

I'll tell you the story, if you don't want to read on the short of it is be aware of staying here isn't great. The person on the front desk had no idea what they were doing. They couldn't figure out how to make a key card. They didn't understand a word of English, I know we ae in Paris, I tried my high school French to no avail. The room was on the 5th floor, i can't tell how disappointed I was, the first thing my husband said is "this is a fire trap" . I sat on the bed, hard as rock . We went for a walk got back at 6pm to chill before dinner and there was a knock at the door , the front reception person and a random guy come in, he is filling the soap containers and she is walking in the room checking the phone, in the meantime me and my husband are sat in the hallway. We found another hotel, packed up and left, we had no refund and I don't care. Believe it or not I left out more details or this post would be like War and Peace :)
