    A Warm, Local Experience Just Outside Paris

    We had a wonderful stay at the Renaissance Paris Hippodrome de St. Cloud Hotel. Located just outside the city and about 20 minutes from Versailles, it’s perfectly positioned for a quieter stay while still being close to major attractions. The drive in through the residential area is especially lovely and worth taking.What really makes this hotel stand out is the people. The staff are genuinely warm and welcoming, with special mention to Loïc, Leah and Romain, who greeted us daily with a smile and great energy. The team made every effort to communicate in English and made us feel completely at ease.Dining at the Hampton restaurant, attached to the Hotel, was a highlight. Chef Johnathon Tache came out to greet every table, creating a very personal experience. The restaurant has a strong local vibe, with excellent service and a relaxed, neighbourhood feel. The food was outstanding—beautifully presented and full of flavour.Breakfast had a wide selection and continued the same level of friendly service. The rooms are uniquely styled and add character to the stay. As a Bonvoy Elite member breakfast is included.Overall, a fantastic experience with a perfect balance of comfort, charm, and genuine hospitality.

    THE alternative to Paris downtown hotels

    A great alternative to anything downtown in Paris I have experienced over the past 20 years. Nice location - if you're lucky you get a room overlooking Paris so you can see the lights on the Eiffel Tower at night. Rooms are spacious, tastefully appointed with well maintained interior. Check-in to check-out: friendly staff and pretty efficient. Parking: right in front of the hotel (on premise) and free of charge. We also got some chocolate cookies and a half-bottle of champagne as a welcome gift - very lovely. Things to improve: breakfast management. Whilst the produce choice and quality is perfect, it would also be nice that tables are set again once people leave so you don't have to run around and collect cups, forks and spoons on other tables. Second, the coffee machines don't really work. Capuccino was very thin and way too much liquid for the cup for example. Third, we mentioned that from the previous party's party, there were two champagne bottles and some food containers on the balcony. Whilst that was not bothering us, we would have expected that message making its way to houskeeping and the items being removed the next day. Lastly, regarding guest interaction: when asking clients how everything is, be prepared to listen to the answer and engage in a small conversation and don't run away because some other urgency came to your mind. That was really a bit rude, morever that we were expressing our appreciation for the room upgrade etc. etc. Dinner at the restaurant: given we arrived late, we had dinner at the hotel restaurant the first night. The experience was delightful! Given the value for money ratio, we would certainly return knowing that this is a great product and that the rest pretty much depends on who is on duty.

    We had a wonderful experience at the Renaissance Paris Hippodrome de St Cloud Hotel.From the very first moment, check in was great, then Omy greeted us, she really enveloped us in genuine hospitality, managing our arrival with effortless grace and delighting us with an unexpected upgrade, she knew it was my birthday and she added some special attention in the room. That was so thoughtful. She took care of all our requests very professionally. Breakfast was great and we really enjoyed our stay.We will come back and thanks a lot Omy in your great job.Mindy.
