  Disappointing cleanliness standards for a Residence Inn

  I usually stay at Residence Inn properties and have generally had good experiences, which is why this stay in Paris was particularly disappointing.The main issue was cleanliness. From the moment I entered the room, I noticed that the bedsheets had visible stains. While I cannot confirm whether they had been changed, this is not something you expect when checking into a hotel.More concerning was the housekeeping during my stay. The room was never vacuumed, not once, which was obvious as the floor remained dirty throughout. The bathroom was also not properly cleaned.As a simple but telling example, there was a hair stuck on the wall next to the bathroom mirror when I arrived. I deliberately left it there to see if it would be cleaned; it was still there when I checked out. This says a lot about the level of attention given to cleaning.That said, I would like to highlight Dylan at reception, who was very welcoming and professional throughout my stay. Overall, while the concept of the Residence Inn is good, the cleanliness at this property, at least in my case, fell well below expectations. Cleanliness is a basic standard, and unfortunately, this stay did not meet it.

  No heating or AC system / poor housekeeping / not a good value at all

  The location is excellent and quiet, we do like it, we have stayed here before. Service at the hotel is not very good, housekeeping is poor and we had no working ventilation or heating system in our room - at 300 euros / night, that's kinda nuts. We were told too bad, open the window, but that doesn't help with heating when needed. Anyway, it was our final stay there this time.

  Staff is remarkably rude, even for Paris. Take your business elsewhere unless you enjoy being talked to like a child. Also, they seem completely unable to process a simple crib request. Not family friendly.

  A very comfortable residence in Paris!

  Marriott residence Inn Didot was a very friendly accommodation choice when I visited Paris during my trip end of November / beginning of December. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and putting all their effort to make our stay pleasant. The room was very neat, spacious, and very comfortable with sufficient illumination and the toilet was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast operation hours and the variety/selection of food were very nice and tables and seats were comfortable. Definitely choosing that residence when visiting Paris again.

  Affordable and convenient business hotel in a very friendly neighborhood

  The hotel is lovely and very well located in the 14th arrondissement of Paris. The area is quite nice with many little restaurants all around, a real feel of a little village in Paris.The hotel itself is very welcoming, and the staff is good, but I did have an issue with cleanliness of the room. The room I was in was of a good size and had a little induction stove, which is very convenient if you don’t want to eat out as you have all the necessary tools to cook your own meal. I was just disappointed that the whole week I spent there, the room was swiped just once, and even though, the job was not well done. When we first got the room there was some hair on the floor probably from the previous client, and also in the shower. So that was quite unsettling. Apart from that all was good. Breakfast buffet is nice with everything needed, and I also liked the fact that there’s a coffee machine that provides all the coffee, chocolate beverages you want 24/7, for free.All in all, a good experience if not for the housekeeping issue.
