  Nice place to stay. The accommodation is a small appartement with living room, kitchenette and a separate bedroom. The whole hotel is clean. The location is superb, near to many train stations, and really close to most of Paris attractions. You can find many good boulangeries, cafes, bistros and restaurants nearby, and it's a couple of blocks away from Galleries Lafayette and Primtemps. Staff were kind and helpful. Price is good comparing with what you get. I definitely will stay there again in my future trips to Paris.

  When I was there I felt that the rooms looked nothing like the pictures on the website. Additionally, the room seemed a little run-down, not that it wasn’t clean, but that it wasn’t being maintained right over a long period of time. Reception was always a very long ordeal, longer than it had to be. The neighborhood seems like it would be a good, bustling neighborhood in the middle of Paris but there’s little to do and a lot of the homelessness problem right outside the hotel. This might be something the hotel can’t control, but when it comes to interactions between the hotel and homeless then it’s a problem. I was walking out to go eat dinner from the hotel, and on the glass, CLEAR doors to leave the building there was a homeless man peeing on them. This was directly on the hotel, where I was about to walk, and nobody was stopping him or anything. Since it is this kind of area there should be security installed or something.

  Disappointing Stay – Not as Advertised, no customer service

  I was very disappointed with our recent stay. The room looked nothing like the pictures on the website, which was the first red flag. Even worse, the air conditioning was not working – we only realized this at 9PM.When I contacted reception, they told us:- There were no other rooms available.- No fans could be provided.- No service engineer was available.- No management was present to assist.My 13-year-old son started getting a bad headache from the heat (the room was 28°C), and we had no choice but to find another hotel in the middle of the night. The staff did not seem to care at all. Despite this, the hotel refused to offer even a partial refund, though under EU law they are supposed to provide one in situations like this. Thankfully, Hotels.com was far more helpful and refunded our stay.I definitely would not recommend this hotel given our experience with the misleading photos, broken AC, lack of support, and refusal to honor basic consumer rights.

  An extremely disappinting quality of service and room. Firstly the room smelt damp, holes in the bath repaired with mouldy silicone, a towel rail missing rails, one tiny bar of soap with no shampoo, hand soap or any other toiletries whatsoever. A tiny kitchenette ill equipped, with a small sachet of washing-up liquid that was already open from previous resident! 2 teabags and a broken biscuit together with a small bottle of water were offered. I asked three times for new ones as I was staying for several days and ended up having an arguement with the person on the desk who told me that a bottle of water was only provided on day one and he could absolutely not offer another - despite it being 23.00 at night and 38degrees! (Previously other people on the reception had assured me they would re-stock but did not. Breakfast is served in an underground room with no perceptable air-conditioning. An agressive lady shouts for your room number when entering and yelled at me across the room when I took an extra tea bag (I had wanted a cup of tea in my air-conditioned room!) The room itself has seen better days and needs redecorating. The bed and bedding is fine but this was quite honestly the worst hotel I've stayed in for quite a while. I am completely confused as to how it can have four stars. A discrace.

  Good hotel, good location

  Hotel was very good, staff was very friendly and helpful, we came in before check in time and room was not ready. They held our luggage so we can go out in the city and came back later to check in. Wife and I stayed for 2 night , room was spacious ,clean , nice size bathroom. Very little water came out from shower head if in the clip but ok if used manually, but that was a minor inconvenience. Hotel was in a good area, although there is a church across the street and there were some homeless people loitering about in the evenings, but at no time did they bother us or we did not feel safe. Opera is a couple of blocks away and there are 2,3 metro stations within walking distance of as well as varied choice of great restaurants in the area.
