  A Wonderful Paris Experience

  Very comfortable experience. Good breakfast each morning. Afternoon wine. Comfortable bed. Great location. The staff—especially Dennis and Johan—were wonderful and helpful. Yes, you do need to be able to climb stairs but they do have a small (1-2 people) elevator for older folks to get up to their room. After 9 PM, the street noise was low and it was really quiet on the weekend. Many restaurants within a short walking distance. The food at Le Lutèce and Sorvino’s was especially good. We had a wonderful Paris experience while staying at this hotel.

  Boutique hotel in a great location.

  Very nice boutique hotel in a great location. We took the RER B train in from CDG, and the Metro is right outside the door! They stored our bags and off we went. When we returned our room was ready a few minutes before they promised, which was nice. The elevator is the smallest you've ever seen, but it works fine. Street noise was never a problem, and we slept with the windows open a bit. The afternoon happy hour was a nice surprise! The staff was always pleasant and accommodating. The Continental breakfast was good. We will definitely plan on returning.   A lovely hotel situated in the heart of the St Michel region of Paris. The rooms are cosy, comfortable and well equipped with clean en-suite bathroom/WC. Staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast room is a little small but once again service is excellent. Highly recommended.   Consistently perfect experience over the past year

  We have stayed at the HRSM almost every month for 3-6 nights per month since September of 2024. We are renovating an apartment in the neighborhood and go to check on the progress. The staff at the hotel are simply superb, friendly, helpful and welcoming. Shout out to Dénis, Yohan, Quan & Saran. In the kitchen, Shaymal and Slavica work so hard and always keep the petit déjeuner varied and well-stocked. Thanks for the yaourt nature, the sparkling water and la moutarde de Dijon. (When they ran out, Shaymal bought more for us the next day.) The porters Adam and Assène are always smiling and willing to help out. The corner rooms are the best, but we have never had a unpleasant stay there. It's always been comfortable, clean, efficient and convenient. Thank you to the whole team. We regret (in some ways) that our renovation is coming to a close, but we will be in the neighborhood and will stop by to keep in touch. We will send our friends as well.   Terrific Location and Hospitality!

  My wife and I recently stayed for a week here and had a very nice experience. The location is great, with easy access to Metro and RER, and within walking distance of many of the sights you want to see. Plus, all the great eating options and interesting shops in the Latin Quarter. The room was very clean, the bedding & pillows comfortable, and the bathroom shower had plenty of hot water. We also had enough space to move around easily and hang our clothes. We heard surprisingly very little street noise because of the double doors of the balcony, despite being close to Boulevard St. Michel. There is an option for breakfast, which serves a nice variety of food and baked goods, buffet style. There is a pretty sophisticated coffee machine with a dizzying choice of options for your preferred beverage. The breakfast room is small but run efficiently, with a cheerful and hard-working staff.The staff, in general, are very hospitable and create a warm, friendly environment. Being in an older building, the lobby and reception areas are quite small but they offer a variety of snacks and wine in the afternoon, as a little bit of a pit stop during the day. The tight spiral staircase could definitely be a challenge for older or less mobile guests. There is a small, 2-person elevator that is kind of like being in a space capsule, as an alternative. The overall vibe we got is a place that cares about the guests and their comfort, and also cares about the condition of their hotel. I would definitely recommend this place to friends interested in the Latin Quarter. We were able to easily walk to Notre Dame, Sainte Chapelle, the Pantheon, Jardin du Luxembourg and Jardin des Plantes within several few minutes. It was a slightly longer, but doable, walk to Musee d'Orsay, Musee Rodin and Hotel des Invalides. My two tips are to book a food tour of the Latin Quarter early in your trip. It will help you get to know the neighborhood and find some great places to eat. Tip two: if you're concerned about trying to figure out the Metro and avoiding the pickpockets, Ubers and taxis were plentiful and easy to use, especially if you already have the Uber app. Just be aware that traffic can be heavy in rush hours. Bonus tip: make sure the credit card you plan to use doesn't charge transaction fees between your home currency and Euros. At least, get a no-fee travel card that doesn't have transaction fees.
