    cheapest apartment in Paris

    rating07 Nov 2018

When i searched for hotels with its own kitchen, this hotel appeared as the cheapest. since i prefer to cook my own meal, this one is a good catch i suppose. booking is non-refundable upon confirmation but im glad they didnt charge my credit card until my actual checkin. since i arrived early at 9am, they kept my bag while i went out and came back for 2pm checkin time. the location of this hotel is few steps from eglise de pantin Metro station which is very accessible to city center of Paris and easy connection to CDG airport via gare du nord. reception staff is helpful but they are not open all day. They provided access card and code to the main entrance incase you need it for late night or early morning. Many grocery shops and restaurants nearby and bake shops for fresh bread. Room is kinda old, no AC but they provided me with electric fan. bed is comfy. there is full kitchen which i used in cooking with free dishwashing items, but there was no exhaust fan so i had to open the window. room is big with good wifi. I dont mind staying here again.

    Do not stay here!!!!!

    rating24 Jul 2017

We stayed here for one week in July, while visiting Europe for the first time. To begin with, staff are only present at the building until 7pm each night - so you must ensure you arrive prior to this time to check-in and obtain your room key. There is no air conditioning anywhere in the building, and the building gets extraordinarily hot! Not only is there no AC, but there are no fans either (you must go purchase your own if you want them). You can open your window if you must, but there are no screens, and the building in on an extremely loud street. You will be listening to sirens all night, and your room will smell of smoke if you do open the window. The rooms are disgusting. Our room had mold in the bathroom and several light bulbs were dead!No daily cleaning (we had use the same two towels for the entire week). In fact only once a week does someone stop by your room to replace yours towels, etc. We will absolutely never stay here again! Truly awful.

    Horrific dreadful place

    rating19 Jul 2017

I stayed here for 10 nights. I paid in advance, first mistake. I arrived to a hotter than hell room, that smelled like a dog had urinated, then the smell of tabacco was disgusting. No aircon so i opened the window which then allowed the smell of the bins outside breeze in and additionally the soothing sounds of the smack heads outside arguing over needles. This would be enough for most to run screaming but it was 2am when i got there so i stayed put. So the next morning with about ten minutes sleep i needed a shower, straight away i was hit with a pungent smell of damp rot, which was very strong. I jumped in the shower and 3 minutes later on getting out noticed that there was an inch of water in the hall and the bathroom, it would seem that the shower has a leak. This conveniently had spread to my suitcase which i had yet to unpack. So after using all my towels to prevent people drowning i set off to reception to inform them of this rather unfortunate series of events and ask for towels as i had used them all to preventing the tsunamiI was told i couldn't move rooms as they we're all full. But someone would fix the leak, put a fan in the room and spray room fresher to mask the stench. So the next day, i had a fan, no new towels and still a shower that leaked. I waited 2 days in the end to get it sorted. So today i left, everything i own stinks of damp and the dog urine smell, all in all a dreadful experience.

All you need if you're not going to spend a lot of time at the hotel. Clean and nice bed. Bathroom not that nice but clean. Small shower. Good price and easy to get to with metro. Store nearby to buy food.

We had a room on the second floor - staff were helpful and quick at checkin. Room was clean and basic. It had wifi which was a huge bonus for sightseeing and was right next to the Metro station.Great cafe for breakfast and a supermarket for wine over the road.It was great as a base and we really only slept there. It was handy to have a fridge for wine and cheese too.
