avoid this residence at all cost

    rating27 Sept 2025

We stayed as a family of five from 24 to 29 August and this was unfortunately one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had. When we arrived, the receptionist Karim behaved in a very unprofessional and unpleasant way. As we were discussing the room situation and payment, he snatched the reservation paper out of our hands and told us we had to pay the full amount immediately at the entrance. Although we were ready to pay, I simply asked if it would not be better to settle everything (like breakfast or other services) when leaving. Instead of answering, he laughed at us, insulted us by asking from which village we were coming, and continued to pressure us in a threatening way to pay faster. This was shocking and very upsetting, especially because we had children with us.From there, the nightmare continued. The apartment was in an unacceptable state: the bathroom had a stain that looked like blood which could not be cleaned, the sofa bed was full of what seemed to be bedbugs, and the sheets were clearly not washed. When we complained to Karim, he only laughed again, saying bedbugs are “normal in Paris,” and refused to give us new sheets. Instead, he handed us a couple of small towels and told us to wait until the next day, saying the cleanliness of the room was not his problem. That night we had no choice but to go out and buy anti-bedbug spray ourselves. The next day I raised my concerns with other staff, but nothing changed. From that moment, the staff stopped greeting us altogether and treated us with complete indifference. We genuinely felt unwelcome and unsafe throughout the stay. On top of that, the so-called room service is not included — it is only free once a week, which is absolutely inadequate for a family of five staying several days.Overall, the main problem was the unacceptable behavior of the receptionist Karim, followed by the very poor cleanliness and lack of basic service. The only small positive note was at check-out, when another staff member, Ali, was at least polite to us. But one polite gesture at the end cannot erase days of stress and discomfort. We left deeply disappointed and would strongly advise families and travelers who value respect, hygiene, and safety to avoid this residence at all costs.

    Long walk, No AC

    rating31 Jul 2024

Spacious room with kitchenette. Check in was a breeze. The room is average for European budget hotel. NO AC AND NO FAN We stayed for 7c days but there was no fault housekeeping services. We have to go to the front desk and requested housekeeping. We had it for one day. LOCATION: This is a 15 minute walk from the train station, I thought a bit too far of a walk.

    Beautiful hotel

    rating23 Jan 2020

Stayed here the weekend of new year week. Guys at the reception were lovely. We arrived early check in wasn’t till 3pm, so they kept our suitcases for us while we explored the area and everything.. came back just before 3pm said our room was ready. So all checked in and went up. Room was lovely, tidy. Shower and toilet were tidy. Nice room for a couple to stay in.. we was out most of the weekend. Over the weekend the front door is locked as it’s normally automatic so they gave us a code to get in, was lovely that we could go out all day and site see and come back to still be able to get in. The breakfast room wasn’t really breakfast, so we skipped most mornings and went out. Right by a massive shopping centre which had 2 levels of a shopping mall in it.. train station right by the mall, cheap to get around on trains. Bummer than some metro lines wasn’t working due to the strike which meant some taxis were priced a bit more but we got round easy, once we knew how to use the machines to get tickets and a map to get round.. one thing I would say I know most Europe places on tv don’t do an English Channel but it needs to start happening. Don’t speak french we muted the tv all day and watched our iPad for movies from now tv and sky go .. WiFi was amazing. Worked all weekend without trouble ..Definitely recommend this hotel for couples that know their going to be out all weekend and just coming back for sleep and wash.. has mini fridge so can by food and drink to have in the room.Thank you for having while we explored Paris for the weekend. The 2 guys on the front desk were lovely ! Thank you

    MINIMALISTIC, BORDERLINE, OVERPRICED

    rating28 Sept 2019

Premium higher priced studio has only ONE chair, only French TV stations, tiny showers with no place to leave your soap, breakfast run by amateurs, small rooms, no real lobby, no balconies, very stingy, minimalistic student type of dorm.

    Bad experience and unkind staffs

    rating16 Apr 2019

Nothing is good in this hotel. Starting from rooms to washing area. Few rooms in the top most floors are duplex and in duplex rooms the lowest part is like a dungeon and it is extremely suffocating and dangerours. You need to climb the tiny stairs to reach the bed room. In case you slip the stairs you are gone. Washing area is so dirty and unclean. And the staff , they are worst people we can dream about. All receptionist are managers and no one bothers about client need.If anyone goes and ask for the manager all staff say i am the manager.
